    I'll take LB or DH...

Mainly because they are a lot younger than Yao.

Thats kinda my thinking. Every superstar has to be selfish at some point. You have to have the mentality that no one on this green earth can check u. jordan, knew it. kobe knew it. Dream did too. Thats what seperates good from great.

I think everone is tradeable. If a Shaq or Wilt or Moses can be traded, why cant Yao? If the owner isnt willing to pull the check book out and spend some of the extra he gets from doing business with china, what good is yao to the rox if he's injured 30% of the time. I like yao and at times can be dominant, but u have to stamp every game. Personally, he doesnt do i enough to justify untradeable, although he probably wont get traded until he proves his body cant hold up?

when amare played center for the suns, before shaq's arrival, i'm pretty sure amare outproduced the opposing centers as much as yao did if not more.

CP3 : had an amazing season, first playoff game was great too. I voted yes but I'm really 50/50 on this one. Yao still puts up better all around numbers and is more important defensively.

Deron: I voted no because CP3 is better.

Lebron: HELL YES! But we would have to rebuild.

Kobe: YES! MVP and best scorer in league, but older and more mileage than Yao.

Amare: Nope. I want big man with defense.

    Dirk: Nope, see above.

Duncan: Still has at least 3 good years I think, but I think Yao will surpass Duncan in 2-3 years. So nope to this one also.

All the trades I voted yes for would leave Houston with big hole in center. So obviously, FA signing or more trades would be neccessary.

Then you believe yao is the most valuable player in the game?

This is a point-guard driven league now. Deron Williams and CP3 are basically untouchable, Utah and New Orleans wouldn't trade those guys for even Lebron or Kobe. From a money-making standpoint, Yao is #1 so the Rockets will never trade him.

So you consider okur a great center? A team with okur beat a team with Yao.

Center is more important than PG when that center is Hakeem, Shaq, or Duncan (as much as Duncan refuses to admit he's a center). When you have a one-dimensional player like Yao, you need lots more help. Yao does not play the kind of defense that could make him the cornerstone of a championship team. He's an all-star and one of the last great back-to-the-basket centers yes, but what he gives on offense he takes back, sometimes moreso, on D. He's been working on it but he'll never be quick like Hakeem or strong like Shaq. So we need team defense to make up for it.

Yeah because all of those teams would laugh in Morey's face
if he came to them with an offer of Yao for any of those players,
except for Dirk cause that's probably fair value

I think Duncan is one if not the best PF to ever play the game, and a PROVEN WINNER. So that´s my vote, maybe we´ll go Miami with a trade like this (one championship and Oblivion) but i think Duncan´s game will last more than Shaq because he doesn´t force himself into shots, he uses fundamentals which will be there forever.

Yes, by posting Duncan i am posting s scenarion when the other team manager is A-r****ded or B-interested in business for himself (just like the rocks one).

I think on fair value the only players that can be acquired for Yao in that list are Deron Williams (only in case Utah somehow gets a fair replacement), Dirk (because he is a choker and Dallas will soon realize that you cannot win without a big) and Amare (when Shaq retires and ONLY if he continues to care nothing about defense).

I see this this way, all players on that list other than the ones i listed (so lets´s say CP3, LeBron, Kobe, Duncan gives you real chances of getting a championship (i can argue on Kobe maybe) i don´t think the same of Yao.

You gave actually two options: Amare and Duncan. I would definitely go for Duncan.

Yao is untradable except for 2 players in this league.

    Kobe
    LeBron

or else there will be no trade.

Bigmen are rare as the same as Kobe LeBron.

Kobe and Lebron has more value this is also why you trade Yao for them.

When its a draft or trade situation you always go with the bigman.

    Something like

    Yao/Alston/Head/Battier/Brooks
    for
    Bryant/Bynum/Walton

is enough to make this deal work.

Also when players demand trades. 99.9% or something close of they get traded.

When they demand trades general managers are forced to put them on the trading block and never take them off as in Kobe's case he is still on the trading block all though its been kept quite. GM's know this.

    CP3
    Deron
    Lebron
    Kobe
    Amare
    Dirk
    Duncan

I like CP3, Lebron, and Kobe. Any one of them is welcome to Huston, but I like Yao as well.

why I am not trading Yao away:

    1. He is the most dominant CENTER right now(DH is close to him though IMO) and we need his presence under the hoop, especially when it comes to the playoffs.

    2. If we get any one of them for the above and trade Yao away, we still couldnt really solve the problem we have right now. We still could not be a Champ contender, unless RA thought it's ok to have no CENTER.

    3. Yao's heart and passion is no doubt of the best amongst other players IMO.

Any player in the league as long as the counter party accepts Rockets2K and Demon77 as part of the package. :D

I couldn't image how would life become if Yao went to a team where I could not find game vids or mms links from their fans forum at all.

Problem is, I beileve Rockets2K and Demon77 have had their trade kicker options in hand. :(

    D. Howard is a possibility. For ticket sales and champs.
Kobe or James ain't bad either. But for ticket sales only.
