    If I even remotely liked Neil Young, I'd pick him because that would make me seem much cooler than I really am. As it is, his voice and guitar playing annoy the living balls out of me, so I'll go with Neil Diamond.

    But Sweet Caroline was freaking awesome...and no true Red Sox fan would say anything bad about Neil freaking Diamond!

    that depends on whether the concert was on a "Hot August Night."

    never saw ND, but i loved that album growing up. and i don't care how many times sedeka is back, just can't go there.

    Caught NY as part of a 4 hour CSNY show at the Liberty bowl in 1974- pretty freakin' amazing...

    I've seen both Diamond and Young live. Young sounds great but is very low key with the audience and his songs can go on and on up to 10 minutes with extended jamming. Diamond is a showman- plays the hits, keeps the audience interested all night, lots of interaction, crowd participation,etc. Depends on what you want from a concert, but I'd rather see Neil Diamond.
