I wish Ralph Sampson never got hurt and Lloyd, Wiggins, and Lucas quit doing white lines.

Right. At one point Tracy was considered top 5. People let this year blind them of how great Tracy was has a player. We all know that we will never see that Tracy again, but to act as if he was never a great player is kind crazy if you ask me.

When did Yao became our most underrated player? He's not a Top 10 player? I dare you to name 10 players better or a center better aside from a healthy Tim Duncan.

I can't think of any. It's hilarious to see how people complain about how much haters T-Mac has, when It's Yao Ming who is the one being hated on....

But in all fairness, if T-mac ever got past the 1st round, a typical NBA excuse fan would say Yao Ming led him there not T-Mac.

If Yao leads the Rockets past the 1st round this year, T-Mac fans let me repeat that T-Mac fans will say Luis Scola led them there.

I think the point is if you ask people outside of Houston to name their top 10 players in the league very few will have Yao name on their list. He would make my list for sure, but most people outside of Houston thinks he just a soft teddy bear. I argue with people all the time here in Detroit, and most of the time they be having great points.

You must know different people. Yao Ming is easily in the Top 10 right now. I post on other forums and most of the time they either have him as Top 10 or Top 5. You must talk to strange people in bars.

That would be spamming so no. I find it hard to believe how anybody picks T-Mac.

How many wing players of all-time would have an offense run through a post player of all-time?

The only one I can think of is Michael Jordan and that's it.

Healthy t mac didnt do anything vs jazz. "it's on me"...and it was.

Healthy Yao is about to advance to 2nd round.

Before you start talking crap., let's get that out there, put it in perspective.

The thing is that Yao isn't a great post player like Shaq, Duncan or any of the other greats. Hes a good post player at best.

The reason some people would pick Tracy is because you can take him out the game even if hes not scoring he will do other things to help the out come of the game, and I'm not talking about this years Tracy. Yao on the other hand as we all know can be taken out of the game easily with fronting and the reason that works is because Yao isn't quick on his feet thats not a knock on Yao because he can't help who he is and at 7'6 its hard for him to be mobile.

What you just said is so dumb on so many levels, I don't even know where to start.

You do know that Yao has a much better team around him this year, if Tracy had this team last year who knows what would have happen in that Jazz series.

Disagree. With today's crop of mostly subpar centers, Yao is a great post player (assuming he can get the ball).

Whats the current salary cap? 60 million? Why dont you try to construct a championship caliber team that totals 60 million with mcgrady at the helm? exclude rookie contracts.

Magic would run the offense, but the offense would not RUN THROUGH him. I thought people knew that since he had Kareem as his center.

Bird no way would anybody run Bird over Hakeem or Shaq.

Thats the thing assuming hes gets the ball, theres no way you can stop Shaq or Duncan from getting the ball down low. I understand we don't have a great passer on out team, but alot of its Yao fault he can't get the ball. If he was just a little be quicker theres no doubt in my mind that fronting him wouldn't work.

I never said you could, but I'll take my chances with a healthy Tracy over Yao.

In his later years, Kareem was far past his prime. In fact, in his last three years, his numbers dropped dramatically from the previous year. And in those years, the offense would run through Magic.

Your original question asked about wings who had the offense run through them. What does that have to do with Hakeem or Shaq?

Because McGrady has such a great record of closing out playoff games?

    Pull up. Clank. Repeat.
