Who would you prefer starts a poll about Jones/ Motie?

We need a poll on whether or not CF opinion polls are of any significance in any way.

 

I can't make a decision without JCDenton providing graphs

 

Personally, I'd rather FFB give us news about Motie/Jones.

 

LOL. Polls are pretty much worthless. Analytical articles would be wonderful. I have all the data collected. Maybe I will right one in the next week. It is to soon after the D-Mo/Jones poll to put it out. Data, stats, charts and graphs. Here is my interpretation, what do you think? That is possibly thread worthy.

 

I'm so thankful that I'm not the only one thinking that polls are useless when use as a source of information.

The data accumulated in these polls are invalid.

If you take Elementary Statistics in college, you should know by now that polls from sites like this will not be deem credible due to their bias and manipulation.

I don't understand why someone would open five polls in span of few days to gather some information refarding a certain topic.

The statement might seem valid but the reasoning behind it is wrong.

 

The information does have value. Just not necessarily very much. If you'd take beyond Elementary Statistics you'll see how to make use of imperfect and incomplete information.

 

You are right, there is some value to polls but not a lot of credibility.

I can't believe you left basketballholic off the poll. It's a stupid poll without him. That being said I like his opinion on Jones/DMo more than Dei's opinion on Lin.

Polls can have value but too often they are rigged in a way to give a certain answer. "Push polling" is done a lot here.

Dang it. The poll has been open for longer than 1 hour so therefore its "compromised" with too large of a sample size.

 

Ballot too confusing. 0/10 would not vote again.
