Lucas did play for the Rockets last year and in limited minutes did adequate. Also he's played on a summer league team with a few people that will actually be on the team this year so I'd think that'd give him an edge...

what do we REALLY know about either?

Until we get a look at them in the Rockets system it's impossible to tell for sure.

    Roll on season!

Both have really sucked when they have been on decent teams. The fact I'd rather go with our current group says how little I think of them.

But if Alston continues to shoot poorly until right before the trade deadline and Arroyo shoots OK for Orlando I'd consider an Arroyo swap mainly to drop a couple years of committed salaries.

Mike James, I still don't like CD's WalMart shopping spree this offseason splitting the MLE on unproven players like VSpan and JL3. I have my doubts about either making an impact or contributing as much as DW did last year. When is CD going to learn that its quality not quantity that wins championships.

I would trade a future pick for Steve Blake.

I like the potential in KillBill and JLIII, but both are very new to this level of play.
