I don't care who as long as we win and get this ship rediscovering the promise land. Once this team discovers the confidence and swagger that comes from getting past the first round, I think they will be even more dangerous.
I'm really unsure of it at this point. Certainly don't want to face the Lakers and Spurs. Not too comfortable facing Blazers and their beast known as Roy, who is pretty damn clutch. I wouldn't mind facing the Mavericks, personally, just so we can get revenge on them. Regardless of their teams' douchbaggery, we still managed to beat their ass, twice, right? And the one time they beat us this season was when we lost Yao, I think. If Scola and Yao can keep the defense stalwart, while Artest and Landry wreck the paint/Aaron and Battier letting loose from range, I think we could redeem ourselves. The fact there wouldn't be corrupt refs is a plus, too. Wouldn't mind taking on the Nuggets, Hornets, or Jazz either.
If we could be guaranteed a win , I would go with the Mavs. I really hate hate hate all that is Dallas. Jason Terry in the playoffs hitting big shots still haunts me. Plus, some one told me that they will try to break our Astrodome attendance record at the All-Star game. Blazers= I think we could beat them , but they have Prysbilla , Oden , Aldridge , and Outlaw more than enough bigs to dominate our bigs. Also, in terms of which star player could lift their team to victory, I would choose Roy over Yao. By a mile. Playoff games are won in the 4th qtr + Yao struggles in the 4th qtr = Hornets and Nuggets could easily win. Billups could be the catalyst for Melo to take his playoff game to a new level. As for the Hornets , CP3 nuff said. Laker and Spurs= No . Helllll no.
For all the people wanting the Hornets.....did you watch JJ Barea go berserk on our guards? Tyson Chandler shutting down Yao......yea it doesn't sound that far fetched.
Really we match up best with the Nuggets. They have absolutely no answer for Yao in the Middle, and I believe Ron and Battier will be more than able to contain a coming off injury Carmelo. After that the Trailblazers, then the Suns (if they make it in), then the Hornets and Mavs.
denver Denver DENVER Melo era Denver has never passed the first round either! It would be a battle between unstoppable force vs immovable object. Whoever wins will lose their first-round virginity (except T). Brook will pwn Billups again x4.
What I think will really happen: Lakers SAS DEN Hou Por NO Utah Phx Dallas will drop out Who I wan to see?? I don't care, as long as it's not LA or SAS, but here is my order: Por Dal (if they make it) Utah NO Phx
Correct me if Im wrong but weren't Dallas a perennial Western power from 2000-2003k, along with Portland, Sacramento and LA? It was the Dirk-Nash duo at the time.
