Who would you compare Von Wafer jumpshot style to?

    Wafer has a damn slow jumpshot, but his elevation on each shot is insane.

    The only shot that resembles his is Penny Hardaway, but Wafer is probably the only player I've seen with such elevation on each shot. His 3 pt is the most obvious, he jumps so high and hangs there before releasing it.

    Dude, Larry never jumped more than 1-2 inches off the floor as he typically shot a set shot. Wafer is a full 1 1/2-2 feet off the floor in the photo. :rolleyes:

    His jumpshot style is kind of simular to Landry.

    somewhere between penny and ray allen.
    i think he has penny's elbow\wrist, and ray allen's vertical "i'm in a phonebooth" posture.

    Don't see it... :rolleyes: ...maybe Robert Reid (without the forward leg kick) or Byron Scott, but not Larry. The setshot and jumpshot aren't even close in form.

    Part of the reason Bird won all those 3-point shootout contests was he didn't tire out and it didn't take him as long to shoot a setshot as it took Hodges, Ellis and co. to shoot jumpshots.
