My sincere take: Remember, I voted for Bush mainly to vote against Gore... Afghanistan? Probably. Iraq? Almost certainly not. Deficit's harder. Probably not, but mainly because of the huge surplus to begin with. Would he have significantly increased govt. spending? Yes. I know he came from Clinton's sde of things, but Clinton benefitted from some economic booms. Gore would have had to deal with many of the same negatives Bush is dealing with. I don't think he'd have spent billions on Iraq, and other such things.
Bama - dude. You hate everyone. I find it especially amusing that in the middle of your political list you mention NBA expansion. I was trying to figure out exactly what liberal group this "NBA" would be. AB - When you say Stern, you mean Howard Stern, right? Not David Stern, I hope. David Stern is a badass.

I wonder whether that pea-brain can even comprehend language. But yes, anyone connected to that family is included.
Even though my response belongs in D & D all I'll say is, I wouldn't trust anything Michael Moore writes or puts on film even if the Pope himself declared it gospel. As a Republican, I could just as easily say "Read Mona Charen, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Barbara Olsen (RIP), Ann Coulter, or even P.J. O'Rourke and see who was corrupted". What would a lot of responses be? Well, put that as my response to any recommendation to read Mr. Moore and his ilk (i.e. Al Franken). Anyway, to address the topic at hand, I'd agree with folks who said Dean (future President....of the Wookies perhaps), OBL, whiny alt-rock groups, holier-than-thou alt-rock fans, and Hollywood types who use acceptance speeches to make asinine statements. That's all for now.
well that's not very nice to yell to your client. as for the thread. Greg Davis, and he'd be thankful i didn't have a gun on me.
Damn skippy! Hemi power, baby! That car is going to sell like winter coats on a below zero day. RWD is back.
Expansion ruined the quality of play in the NBA and is responsible for players who clearly are deserving playing in the league. Who cares about another Charlotte team, because they are going to suck! Memphis has only recently became watchable and Toronto has had a few good stretches to go along with mostly losing.
And get emasculated? Righteous anger has its place. If this was a thread of people I'd salute, my list would be longer.
You forgot the "self" in front of righteous. I sincerely hope nothing ever happens to your family where you're jobless, broke and you or your kids need medical attention.
so, when is this thread headed to the D&D? Be very careful with "righteous" anger. It's still anger. It still feeds on itself and takes on a life of its own. Not good. (of course, next thing you know the members of the bbs will start calling each other idiots... to their computer screen, since the face is not available. People are rude all over the Internet, probably because they don't actually have to look at the person they're speaking to.) That said, I'm still guilty of calling people idiots behind their backs (usually from a closed car, or from watching TV). I'm too non-confrontational to ever use that to anyone's face... unless they happen to be married to me and have really been p*ssing me off for quite a while...
