Well, looks like we might have hit bottom in BBS characters. Pack it up folks.

Good pick up, he plays the style they say Adelman likes and when Yao comes back the two of them could prove an interesting tag team.

    Isn't he on the Texans?

He has definitely proved his usefulness, however unless he gets considerably better on defense and rebounding,he will be confined to cameo appearances on most occasions.

Cameo appearances dont work well for some on this team. How do you think David will handle it? :p

His defense blows...I rather have a defensive center in the NBA than an offensive oriented center especially on the Rockets (Yao is an exception)...but who else is out there? No one.

He has done a fine job in the NBA, but im not sure how much more he ll improve.

The thing that has surprised me the most is his post moves. I actually feel pretty confident when he has the ball int he post.

Also, gotta love his attitude. He doesn't let the other team push him around. You elbow him, you're getting one right back.

Morey has done a good job getting key international players with high basketball IQs and good attitudes to us. then houston's coaching staff has done a great job getting them NBA ready. I hope we keep this group together minus a few obvious dead weight players.

Nearly everyone he has drafted, signed, or traded for has helped the Rockets. Except for the lone exception of Joey Dorsey.

Jermaine Taylor is looking to be a semi-promising player. Or at least a flashy one.
Donte Green helped get us Ron Artest.
Von Wafer last year was a huge surprise.
Ron Artest then indirectly helped us get Trevor Ariza.
Tracy McGrady will probably help us get some other good player.
David Andersen is performing way better than expected.
Rudy Gay helped us get Shane Battier.

And then the lone exception... Joey Dorsey! Who might actually help us by being packaged in a deal that gets us a good player!

Anderson was not a typical rookie. He's has been playing very competitive basketball for several years at the highest level outside of the NBA. I figured his defense would be his biggest struggle and maybe the speed of play in the NBA. I was surprised his shooting was off at the beginning, but he's seemed to find his stroke.

If anyone has surprised me it is Chase Budinger. This guy has a knack and feel for the game that just isn't ordinary. Possible All-star in the making? Maybe, just maybe....

He knows how to play the game. He ALWAYS runs to space in the half court and has a good back to the basket AND facing the basket game. He doesn't do everything well but he fits in nicely with the things he does. I'm impressed that Adelman is leaving him in the game to close out 4th quarters now and then...

When he starts hitting the three-pointer consistently, he will open up so many things for Brooks, Landry, etc...

Just my analysis so far of Jermaine Taylor that was intended to be a joke...Jermaine's not at Dorsey's level yet...

    Don't be so sensitive, thanks!

People you have to stop underrating international players this far.

I told you in several threads that he is a good player and that time would make up for his early mistakes.
I know here what it's not NBA doesn't extist, but please be more thrustfull to those like me who watch Fiba on consistent basis due to our origins. (Argentina in my case)

This reminds me a lot of the Scola doubters the year he came in... People who have been in touch with Fiba knew he was a great asset.

Want news? Spurs Haislip, will end up a good NBA player as well if he is given playing time.

He brings floor-spacing (though his shooting has been very streaky, he's at least a threat) and a potential post up option when a smaller player is on him. Everything else is pretty bad.

Don't forget to Steve Novak, Brad Newley, and Maarty Leunen to Dorsey. That's 4 fails.
