I've already passed up livid and have moved on to "complacent". They're not making the playoffs. They just beat a team that wasn't even trying and that started a 3rd string rookie. If the t*** would have even *tried* the game would look different. There'll be no "division championship" or "three-way tie". This team will win 7 or 8 games, tops.
I just realized that Collins would be back for the next game. Which I had given the Texans a win. I still think they CAN WIN just makes it less assured for me. The Next game will be different 1. Not Rookie Rusty QB 2. CJ WILL get more than 7 run attempts. 3. Finnegan will be even worse and maybe the rest of the defense get his back and be *****ty folx too. Rocket River gggrrrrr
If that's the case then they will provide big trouble for the colts and jaguars as well. I say if the texans run the ball, don't turn the ball over and get lucky.. then they can win every single game, just like they lost every single game in that four game losing streak. It's all going to come down to who sucks less in the division, which sucks for one other team outside the division that will probably end up with 11 wins and out of the playoffs.
The other teams REALLY have to suck because the Texans have the harshest schedule I don't think the colts schedule is hard at all. Rocket River
Sorry to start something, but this is a huge pet peeve of mine. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/literal[1]?show=0&t=1291053388 You can't use "literally" as a hyperbole. That's just contradictory. Not a huge deal, but extremely irritating. For me at least.
+1 To add emphasis, one could use "seriously" or "potentially" or "actually". But "literally" just doesn't make sense here.
They may have given up late in the 4th quarter. But anyone not named Randy Moss seemed to be doing their best out there for the most part.
I originally voted and did think the Titans would win the division, but based on the last 2 weeks, I dont think we have a chance. Good luck texans, this is the year the colts might actually fall late in the season.
We go 4-1 and the Colts/Jags go 3-2... it could happen. We are very much alive here, depending on how poorly/well the rest of the AFC South does. To screw up 4 games this badly and still be in contention is so rare, better make the best of this chance, Kubes...
That's what it looked like to me. I know these are professionals, but everyone from the head coach (who lost a lot of points in my book) to the special teams looked beat from the time they took the field. That "game plan" was one big wtf??? and the "effort" I saw was more like going through the motions than a team who thought they had a chance to win (and I thought they did).
What are the tie-breakers? I thought it was DIVISION then CONFERENCE We can Tie in Division . . . . but dunno if we can win in conference Rocket River
Colts: Division 1-2 Conf 4-4 Jags: Division 2-1 Conf 5-3 Texans: Division 2-2 Conf 4-4 Colts have the inside track, Jags have a slight edge on the Texans, but anything can happen with 5 games to go.
Here's what I think our best shot is... Texans going 5-0 (which is doable IMO as hard as it looks), Colts losing a division game (going to need help from either the Jags who play them twice, or the titans), and the Jags end up losing twice (once to the Colts, and once to us). That would mean.... Texans 10-6, Colts, 10-6, Jags 9-7. Texans Division (4-2), Colts division (3-3), Jags (3-3).
This doesn't mean we have to go 5-0... we can surely be 4-1 and we still might have a shot, but honestly.... we can't lose any of those division or conference games.
Yep. We can get smashed by Philly and still be alive. But we need the Colts and Jags to drop multiple conference games along the way.
Not to get too excited, but one thing I do see as hopeful is that, for the first time since Game 1, Kubiak and the Texans actually just stuck with what works, and let their talent win the game for them. We were a totally different team in how we used someone like Foster Sunday than most of the rest of the season. Has this coaching staff finally learned a valuable lesson? One could hope. Still, all this goodwill could fade away quickly if the Eagles game gets too ugly.
I think the baltimore game is more vitale than the Eagles game. Any TWO LOSES [which don't include the Eagles]You put the nail in the coffin . . IMO beating the Eagles but losing to baltimore and one other team . . . I think is game over Rocket River
