since rockets are out of the playoffs i will be rooting for... OKC THUNDER IN THE WEST CHARLOTTE BOBCATS IN THE EAST
Lakers. I like it when there's a dominant elite team, becomes more significant in basketball history, adds more to the story of their downfall in the future, and gives incentive to the underdog. I also want to see Kobe's legacy continue to grow.
Thunder is clearly a popular choice. I'm rooting for them as well. Not sure who I like on the East. Also, not sure if there's much point- I'm kind of thinking the Cavs are going to dominate the East at least until conference finals vs. the Magic.
I'll root hard against the Lakers, Spurs, and Cavaliers. I guess I'll root for the Raptors, even though they have no chance. I wouldn't mind seeing the Nuggets do well also.
Portland and the Thunder from the West. Cavs and the Magic from the East. I also would be happy if the Bucks did well. Atlanta too.
I'll go Magic or Hawks in the East and Blazers in the West. I want the Thunder to get swept out in the first round. Not because I don't actually want them to win, but they are scary and only going to improve. What if they had a big man better than Krstic? I don't want them getting playoff experience!

I do like the Hawks, but I think they're "pretenders" when the playoffs come. The difference might actually be "The Difference" this year though. Again, I hope the Nuggets fall off of the face of the earth along with the j*zz.

I hate it when teams try and win it ever freakin year more than 2 times. Look at the past 50 years in the NBA its been like the same 5-6 teams that won. WTF is that?!?! i wonder how other teams even keep fans or a market when they know Stern and the league arent gonna let anyone else get the title.
