This sounds like Kevin Love but I just can't see it happening.

DMo and NOP pick for Dragic
Cannan, Papa, maybe Capela for Kanter and parts

    Dragic/Bev
    Harden/Terry
    Ariza/Brewer
    Jones/Smith
    Howard/Kanter

Players that fit the mold: Vet, undervalued, possibly a former star, wants to be with Dwight and josh, possibly has texas roots

    D-Will
    Joe Johnson (friend of smith)
    Bosh
Dragic (has sat out late in some games)
    Okafor

Who else.. I'm probably stretching on some of these...

I think you guys are reading the (Dwight/Josh) portion incorrectly. He is referring to a player needing his brothers like Dwight and Josh needed eachother. This is why I thought he was referring to Kevin Love who is very close with James and McHale. It also could refer to Goran and Zoran joining their extended family in Houston where they are very close with Coach and it appears that Gogi is close to Harden and DMO.

Emeka's done. He's not attempting a comeback until next season anyway.

I think the drag out was for dragic. Mentioning coming home was because he played here b4. The mention of terry was probably because he'd be included in the package for dragic.

I'd be very surprised if it's Goran, but Morey absolutely has to come out of this deadline with a point guard or a center. Get one of those and it's a success.

We are trading for both Goran and Zoran. They are a package deal. Phoenix only signed Zoran to increase the odds of resigning Goran. Morey will now want the little brother bargaining chip for this summer, and Phoenix will want to dump Zoran's contract.

By the way, who was the gentleman sitting next to Morey's left last night.

He looked like someone who would be on clutchfans.

    It does.

Although, I don't get the fascination with D-will.

You can forget about Deron. Worst contract in the NBA - due $43M over the next two years.

You could clearly read Dragic or Deron Williams in Codman's post.

And if it is Williams, it clearly is via a buyout at vet minimum salary. At that cost, why not?

BUT, Morey would have to know about the Williams buyout before the Trade Deadline if that is a determining factor in moving assets for Dragic.

From Morey's perspective, keeping ALL ASSETS and adding Williams via a vet minimum contract makes sense.

If Morey could get D-Will for free, then Morey could entertain options for a Vet Big man to add to rotation to help with Dwight out.

I don't know how much DWill has left in his game. He seems to have fallen off the cliff. He always seems injured. But back in the day he was a quality 3pt shooter and good defender.

A buyout of DWill COULD take place if BKN is able to shuffle away Lopez for no or very little incoming salary. DWill MAY be agreeable to a buyout and stretch proposal from the Nets which saves them around $10-12 million of his final season salary, knowing he can make that up with a MLE type signing with another team.
