Cool. I heard he went down hard but I didn't know he was trying to tear the rim down when it happened.

Just one more reason to be excited about this season.

It was on a fastbreak with Rafer. He got the ball on the run and went up to dunk it on some Hornet player...but then got shoved in midair. I think the weight loss has made him a little more nimble.

So, what is our all-dunk lineup?

    T-Mac
    Harris
    Snyder
    Francis
    ...Reed?

Heh, with these four gentlemen, the Rockets can have their very own slam dunk contest during the All-Star break :p

I have only seen him play a few minutes but I immediately noticed that he seems leaner than last season. I really think the weight held him back more than people realized. There is no reason (other than the weight and his mind) for the guy not to be the same player he was 4 years ago. He is still young and his type of back issue should not effect his explosiveness.

for a player like tmac who depends SO MUCH on athleticism (even the smallest thing like rising up for his jumper, things that i wouldn't care about when i play ball).

being lighter and slimmer (and more importantly shed the fear of initiating contact which he showed he got over that w/ that dunk attempt) allows him to regain a lot of his explosiveness. a lot of shots were short last yr v. utah. that's in the legs and being able to elevate. it'll be there this yr. he couldn't make those reverse layups consistently last yr b/c he couldn't hang as long in the air. he'll be able to do that this year.

it's gonna be exciting. i feel he'll challenge kobe for first-team all-nba this yr, which will be easier considering we'll have a top notch record.

Yup!! I to think Tmac will be unstoppable this year...Since he will be on the receiving end of some nasty dishes from SF/MJ/RA/LS

I think T-Mac is too talented or something because he makes it seem to easy. I mean even those crazy jumpers over two and three defenders are like cream cheese to him.... too smooth!

But that dunk over Bradley will forever be in my memory.

Steve on the other hand has had some nasty ones too though. So it will be fun to watch.

Someone should make video of it at the end of the year.

That is true....However, in seeing Tmacs slimmed down...and seeing him attempt to posterize in the PRESEASON. Who knows...he might be Orlando Tmac again!! plus the playmaker abilities of course...that's why it will be interesting to see if they develop some friendly....WHO GETS ON ESPN COMPETITION....That is as long as they are winning!!!

Not that spectacular? Have you seen some of his highlights? His dunking ability is through the roof, although he doesn't do it as much anymore. It's not that he isn't capable, but its unnecessary. He'll still do it, i'm sure especially since now that he lost weight and feel great i'm sure he'll be giving you a monster jam sometime soon. hopefully. :D

But if Snyder plays, i'm sure he'll get lots of dunks. He's just fearless and try to dunk over everyone.

Remember when Snyder tried to dunk over Mutumbo with two handed? He got owned, but at least he went for it. Snyder is fearless.

Too bad Ryan Bowen is no longer with the team. His verticle and creative dunks out skill anyone in the NBA.
