Rockets. They've been working harder for this then any other team and it's going to pay off. Harden has been pushing for Howard since the all-star break...and Morey has been working for this team for longer than people realize. (He's loved Harden as a player for a while...jumped at the chance...has been after Howard for years now...)

    This is all coming together.

Dallas is just going after the next FA. I think in the end Dwight will see that.

Lakers it's a pride and ego thing. They don't think a big name FA will leave them and they think he will help them get another big name...Dallas too.

Houston it's all about Dwight. Dwight actually can plug in and this be about him...and they have a shot at brining in his friend too in Smith.

I don't see Dallas being much of a threat...I think it's either Lakers or Houston and in the end he'll go with basketball and all the smooching from Harden and Parsons will work out...Morey chasing after Howard and Harden for this long it will have worked out....just like the Big three in Miami was something that was in the working for years.

Doc Rocket has said it for awhile and Woj keeps saying in every update "Rockets are ahead." we see the desperation from the Lakers begging now, the confidence of our guys. I'd be surprised now and I don't care about 'setting myself up for disappointment.' just too many things going Houston's way right now.

Unfortunately for the Lakers and Mavs they are just too far behind Morey and his plan.

Whatever happens, does anybody think Dwight would be 'on the market' if Jerry Buss was still running that team?

The screwups that his son has made over his own pride does not bode well for Lakers fans.

Yes I know we are biased, but Houston wont get 100% of the vote, even here...

I'm now thinking he's going to GS. I know everyone is saying how hard it's going to be for GS to make it happen, but i don't think it is. Teams have already made a bunch of dumb signings this off season. I'm sure more are willing to make dumb trades. It wouldn't be the first time and it won't be the last. We already know LA will accept a trade and i believe Dwight prefers GS to Houston. What is there not to like? Cali, Curry, great fan base, good coach, and he'll clearly be the #1 guy.
