Gonna go with Omer Asik (if we get him). My guess is he ends up being wildly productive and haters are surprisingly happy he's on the team.
Lamb or White or Morris or Jones or Motijunas or scola or parsons or Patterson or Asik... But probably Lamb.
Asik will average 8 pts 13 boards and 2 blocks. Everyone will say he should be an All-Star and then cry all year about how he was snubbed.
Royce White seems to be an active body with the ball which means potential free throw opportunities or "and 1" three point plays. He actually remind me alot of Bonzi Wells or maybe Corey Magette from his highlight videos.
D-MO D-MO IS THE NEXT DIRK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GET READY...PLUS HES COCKY AND HAS ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tough question..def expect parsons to up his game (guys got a heck of a work ethic)...if Martin isn't traded I expect him to be back to his typical 20+ efficient scoring...if Martin is dealt think lamb could be solid (15+ game)...dmo I think has the potential to be a big player if he gets enough time out there (just hope his rebounding is there)...Would like to see white come out strong but wonder about his pt situation
I don't expect Lamb to score alot since it seems he scores his points running off of like 2 or 3 screens kinda like reggie miller/jj reddick. I mean for him to get open it takes timing with an experienced point guard to find him for open shots, and it's almost the middle of july and we don't have a point guard Additionally, I don't even expect Martin to score that much either for the same aforementioned reasons.
Haters will ignore everyone who said Omar is an elite level defender / rebounder and a good shot blocker by saying, "no one saw him playing this good and if they did they were just being homers". Haters always have an excuse and never admit they are or we're wrong.
I honestly like Jeremy Lamb alot, I think if K-Mart is shipped off he has a chance to be a really pleasant surprise. Something in the 12-18ppg, 2-5apg, and 2-4 rpg range. I understand he's skinny but I don't quite see the comparison to Kevin Martin, I personally think he compares much better to....gulp....T-Mac. He's athletic, long wing span, and can shoot lights out. In college as a jump shooter he shot an amazing 60% inside the 3 pt. line; which to me is very impressive. I didn't want to just throw out a name without giving any sort of rationale.
I'm going to make a bold prediction and say that Patterson takes the next step and achieves Landryesq form (the caliber of the year we traded Landry for Martin). Hard work and determination will pay off for Pat.
