Agreed. Those are two guys I dreamed about adding to Harden and Howard the past two seasons. They are literally ideal compliments. I COULD see them moving one or both, but not for what we would offer. They'd either be looking for younger pieces that could help them now or for rebuilding pieces, like high draft picks. What are we going to offer them? The only high upside young guy we have is Capela and he isn't a difference maker for them.
If it's not Capela, then that'd be disappointing in terms of his lack of development. He should easily be able to beat out Nene.
hinrich the nba player dies several years ago. No one currently on the Hawks or Pels seem to fit that description.
Milhouse =Milsap Ashton=korver J.Cole= N.Cole Chalmers=Chalmers!! Maybe: Boogie and some Brotherly Love.....ohhhhh yeeeaaahhhhh!!
Not a big fan of trading for Millsap. He's eligible for the max of max next year (more $$ than Al Horford got this year, because he's been in the league long enough). Unless Morey is ready to commit the max to him.
What i can only guess is that maybe they don't want to pay Korver next summer because he's not worth it at this point, and Millsap maybe asked a trade after they were looking to trade him.
Alright Codman, let us know what that Ear is hearing. Any new rumblings after James' contract extension? Who's our point guard for this year and are we any closer to Brothery Love? :grin:
I think they're ready to trust Capela with a larger role, could be wrong though. It doesn't matter that much either way. Both will play less than 30 minutes per game.
Just my opinion but Capela, DMo and Nene will split time at center. IMO you will not see Nene get more than 10 or 15 minutes a game on most nights.
Best I can tell from Codman's remarks, sixers are our best bet to get a good center through trade. Tyson Chandler's been mentioned, but I think it's better to deal for guys on their way up. Either Okafor or Noel would be fine by me; both are true 5's and have huge upside.
