If we get Dwight, how will we get that 2nd star?

There was talk that Morey wanted to get another star to pair with Dwight right now.How is that possible if we trade all our assets for Dwight. We would be making a huge gamble if we wait till FA to get another star.

Jsmoove/Iggy/Gay these were the guys who Morey wanted to pair with D12.

Well, here is a thought for you. Josh Smith is Expiring. You trade the rest of the 'next available pick' rights (which Atlanta owns), thus, guaranteeing them the 2013 selection, then give them 2015 pick, and whatever else in on our roster that is expiring. 2 1sts for someone who is leaving at the end of the year? And they can't have DMo because he can't be traded.

Honestly, I'd be happy with either Josh Smith or Andre Iguodala.

Then of course get CP3 next summer!

It depends on how/if we acquire our 1st star. I'm sure his number 1 plan would be to bring in a great PG like a CP3, and then fill in with role players. But there are tons of different options available for NEXT off-season thru trade and FA. James Harden, J-Smoove, Gay, etc. I dont think even Morey knows at this point who it's going to be. As of right now I think Morey has stacked all his dominoes and is just waiting on the 1st one to fall

Personally i thought Dwight would be the guy to get Martin out of his funk, should draw double-teams leaving K-Mart wide open for the 3.....

Looks like he'll be traded away though.

dwight always wanted and never had a dynamic perimetre scorer. Hopefully IF we get dwight and he wishes to stay we can entice him with the cap space and choice of free agents (hopefullyif we still have cap space left).

ex. monta ellis could be had hopefully for less ifhe has an off year
    - not my first choice but just throwing out there some of the possibilitis

Let's not forget. OP said his sources told him that Dwight would end up in LA in a deal for Bynum earliest by next week.

Which begs the question, why even create this speculative thread if what your source said might come to fruition?

For the money, I don't think Iggy ($15 million) offers enough value over Parsons ($900K).

You absolutely take Josh Smith if you can get him, but PF is definitely not a priority (not that Morey cares). Between White and DMo i think we will get a quality starter.

PG is a gaping whole right now. CP3 is the guy Morey wants.

Assuming the "Chinese forum insider" is right, we would have around $38 - $40 million in committed salary for 2012-2013....which gets us extremely close to offering one other max contract in addition to Howard.

    CP3 / Duhon
    Richardson / Lull??
    Parsons / Morris
    DMo / White
    Howard / ??
