Another of the best and brightest. His hire (no experience in either heath area or even real professional experience at all) reinforces the belief that trump really isn't serious at all about the problem of opioid epidemic (despite publicly declaring "a war on opioid" and naming PR hack Kellyanne Conway as Czar). Who identifies these people to trump and his administration? Do they do any screening at all?

The problem has been around since we made the mistake of electing him: no self-respecting professional with a concern for their reputation will accept a position in this embarassment of an administration.

Hence, we are left with a parade of sycophants who are as ill-equipped and unqualified as the Dipshit-in-Chief himself.

Not out of keeping with his stated retirement plans? He was intending to leave with zero days notice?

Great question, why can't he appoint the best and the brightest, so far he has failed miserably at this...

The best and the brightest would not want to sully their reputations. Can you blame them?

Consequently, we get Flynn, Manafort, Bannon, Smith, Perry, DeVos, etc.

Just got reported that Director Wray told him this morning "You are no longer part of this team". So it was a forced early resignation. What caused Wray to act abruptly and push someone out early that was leaving anyways in a few months is the big question.

Its just a guess, but my guess is it has to do with this Nunes Memo that will get released as early as tonight which will pain McCabe out to be John Wilkes Boothe. I'm sure Wray wants nothing to do with the partisan controversy that is happening, and thinks that moving McCabe out will get the FBI out of the FoxNews/Trump political cross-hairs. Little does he know (or does he know and is an active participant) that he's assisting in purging the law enforcement in the name of King Trump who is slowly working to seize ultimate power of state, media, and law enforcement.

The power of the military is up for debate, and Mattis has shown to have stayed outside of Trump's political orbit. Still you could probably still assume he has ultimate power over the military, but his abuses of that power haven't been put to the constitutional test yet. There is still 3 more years for this to be a future issue.

I'm not going to make Hitler/Stalin comparisons, but Turkey/Erdogan comparisons are pretty relevant. Trump is seizing power before our own eyes, and nobody seems to care because of .... the stock market I guess.

Typical Bobby. When faced with an indefensible issue, he resorts to name calling (regardless of the irony). At the next team meeting, you and your fellow comrades should try to come up with more effective tactics.
