Its a shame mr. shanahan and his family are having their personal challenges aired... which makes one wonder why he considered the appointment going in knowing his history would be uncovered. And why the people in the admin didn't discuss this with him before appointing him...

Azar objected to the administration’s plan to ban government scientists at the NIH from doing such research. Pence strongly disagreed, as stopping fetal tissue projects is a top priority for him.

Oakley, the HHS spokesperson, said Azar supported the administration’s stance. HHS "led the rollout of the president’s decision regarding research involving human fetal tissue from elective abortions,” she said, calling the administration’s anti-abortion work a top priority. HHS also recently moved to freeze Planned Parenthood out of the largest federal grant program for family planning.

Thanks, VP. My wife and I were getting treatment for a lot of pain issues, including some that caused me to have to leave the military. Pence's decision forced my doctor to have to give up the stem cell shots because of this decision. Luckily, I was able to get enough to get me back on my feet and able to move again, but my wife only got one in a series of about 3 shots before the decision came down to suspend it.

 

Even if you think Trump's policies are great and have no problems with anything that was detailed in the Mueller report, you have to admit he sucks at running the business end of things.

He hasn't been able to fill his cabinet. It is full of 'acting' secretaries. That doesn't even go into the scores of other positions that he's never been able to fill. As an administrator, he just sucks plain and simple.

 

Man, that really sucks. Sorry that your medical treatment is being affected by the ridiculous decisions of this administration. It simply isn't right.
