    The "United States" didn't exist before George Washington was president. The title that you are referring to is more closely tied to the current vice president as he is the president of the senate.

    There was no executive branch at all for someone to be president of.

    question wasn't first person on Earth, it was first male on Earth. Regardless, the correct answer is the first male who coined the phrase "Earth" or "erthe"

    There was no one on "Earth" until someone started calling it "Earth."
