The team was actually better way Rey wasn't on the field that year... so Flacco.

Ray Lewis was a known liability the last couple years of his career. Flacco isn't worth half his contract now but he definitely was the one of the main reasons they won the Super Bowl that year.

Joe, but it's not written in stone. He was stellar during the postseason and could do no wrong. But Ray really lit a fire under their ass when he told them that this was his last ride. So the team really bonded together and was extremely motivated and that probably elevated a lot of players game too.

Flacco probably played a tad bit better than Ray did, but it's difficult to quantify the emotional impact Ray had on the team. Flacco IMO, seems like he just got into a groove that he may never see again in his life, as opposed to Ray, he at least had a ton of tackles....LOL

    So I voted for Ray

Boldin made all those plays to keep them alive and they held the Patriots to like 13 points in the playoffs. So, probably someone on defense.

Flacco had one of the best QB postseasons of all-time.
