    Pipe dream?

I doubt it. There are so many ways a good opposing coach could attack Houston in a playoff series right now. Couple that with McHale sucking with in game adjustments and a ridiculous amount of talent that OKC has, I vote 'No'.

The Rockets are just now trying to figure out how to play through Dwight in the post. They will end up having to do that a lot more in the playoffs in the half court with the defense set. Imagine if our three point shot wasn't falling and fast break points halved...we'd be screwed.

The last game we played against OKC we blew, ourselves. Rockets are playing like a team and even though they got a little too comfortable last night against the Wiz they could beat OKC in a 7 game series, we are a much improved team and we won 2 last year I could see us winning 4 in a series against them. I view the Rockets as a team who doesn't know just how good they are once they figure it out they will be very hard to beat.

PF isn't the big issue, wing defense is...and that would be especially evident against OKC.

Couldn't agree more. It just pisses me off to see how inconsistent the Rockets can be at times.

    Keys to Success:
    1. Understand how hot Durant is? If he's on fire, double on the catch and force the others to beat you. Stay with Serge, who's on fire
    2. Make Durant play D, by moving Chandler through multiple picks and make Chandler a viable offensive option. If Chandler stands in a corner, this will give Durant opportunities to rest on defense
    3. James Harden has to play D and help out on D. He must play D when matched up with Lamb
    4. Give Perkins, Sefalosha, all the shots they want and use their defenders to help out on Durant, Serge, and maybe Lamb
    5. Tjones must make shots from 18ft and out to keep Serge away from the bucket

If Beverly and Lin continue to Gel and Asik gives a solid 15 minutes off the bench. If DMo shoots 40% (yes it's a big if but DMo is shooting 40+ this month)from behind the arc and Garcia plays D on Durant like he did last playoffs. And if Harden and Howard do their stuff yeah we could win. We have more options than they do although they have Durant.

Without Westbrook I think we could. We've lost to them twice this year and both times we were in unfavorable conditions (4th game in 5 nights and 3rd game in 4 nights) while they were rested. The second game we just completely blew it in the 2nd half. They are good, but without Westbrook they are vulnerable. Too bad so many people don't see it.

i don't even think we could beat OKC right now, that's WITHOUT WESTBROOK.

OKC has an elite defense and the most lethal weapon in the game, today.

OKC is just too good, Durant is a SUPER-DUPER-STAR. Add Westbrook to the equation, we'd be lucky to win 2 games.

We got to six games with a worse squad. We can force game 7 and by then a ying can happen. It wouldn't shock me.

it's our defense that's vulnerable. OKC is as consistent as it gets, on both ends of the floor.

What I'm saying is that a lot of people are basing the fact that we won't stand a chance against OKC based on 2 games that we were clearly playing on dead legs. If Asik stays and regains his form, that solves a big part of the problem on the defesive end. OKC is not unbeatable.

I'm still at the point that I'd just be happy to see the Rockets advance past the first round. Beat the Thunder? HAHAHA!

I wouldn't trust Jones or Dmo in a series like this. I say you go small ball with a lineup of Bev, Lin, Harden, Parsons, and Dwight and force them to go small aswell.

I sure as hell don't, and anyone who does is out of their ******* mind. The Thunder are the Rocket's single worst match-up, I'd give them a better chance of beating the Heat in a series.

Durant will eat us alive and then hand all our asses on the plate on Morey's dinning table.

No, not right now. But i would not be scared to play them, there is a such thing as a punchers chance, and we have that with anyone in the NBA.

I just wish our bench was better than what it is now.

Whenever I think about this team... even if we are able to get to the finals. Who is going to guard Lebron?

If Cassippi and Garcia are not yet traded they have 12 fouls to use.
