for real guys......the guy we should try to draft is Hollis Price. Coming from a UT bball fan from the past four years I have seen what this cat can do. He is lightning quick, can stroke it from anywhere, and he is a smart bball player. He is a little short for a 2, but he probably has the handles for the one.

I think the Rockets should draft me.

I'll get paid to have the best seat in the house, and I guarantee none of you guys would be crying about my lack of playing time ;)

Rudy never said he was implementing a motion offense, he said he was trying to put movement into the offense. Clearly in his mind, they are two different things.

We have already drafted a player. His name is Bostjan Nachbar. Whomever we draft this summer will be our pick the year after that. . . and so on and so forth. :(

How 'bout this comment: He simply was not ready to make a contribution this year. If he was, he would have played.
We have been fighting for the 8th spot all season, why jeopardize that by playing someone who wasn't ready when they had Rice, Posey and Morris who were contributing?
So our rookie Euro (known for his penetration skills and weak defense) 15th pick couldn't beat out an NBA vet and two young athletic, defensive minded guys. Does that make it a wasted pick?

Well perhaps we need to move from the "movement offense" to a "motion offense." We aren't getting any movement from the 3 guys standing around the 3pt arc that is for sure. No one is running of screens to catch and shoot, there is very little cutting or back door screens. These are the things this team needs to impliment. Is it Rudy does not want to do this, or that Rudy does not know HOW to do this and thus sticks with what he knows? And if that is the case why aren't we hiring assistant coaches that DO know how to impliment this type of offense the way Rick Adelman of the Kings did with Pete Carril a few years ago?

BERNARD KING, he's 6'7", a good defender, has NBA range, can score, and won't get into trouble. He carried aTm for 4 years, even though they didn't do very well, he is a very good player.
I wouldn't mind Hollis Price either so that we can get rid of Moochie's ass, but I don't think Price is going to be around in the 2nd round.
You know it was a bad year when we are getting this excited about a second round draft pick.
