Bizarre. What does this guy "do", exactly? He's like the Mr. Wolfe of the NBA.

He's either the nba version of a guru, or he's these guys' source for MJ (not the player) and clean urine.

He gets around restrictions placed on agents. He is friends with all kinds of players and pushes them towards changing their current agent and signing with another one (Leon Rose). Agents aren't allowed to do a number of things when talking with a guy who already has an agent, but they're allowed to hire someone to do vague, undefined things and that guy swoops in and ushers players to the agent and placates them once there. Pretty much every agent has a guy like this, but Worldwide Wes is considered the best and is the most well known.

Players have dealt with guys like this ever since they were recruited for AAU, to play for certain high schools, or to go to a certain college. Somehow they end up believing that these guys are their friends.

My bet is that he sets players up with drugs, hookers, gambling, ect.. so they don't get caught.

Dwyane Wade said. "He's a guy who gives support, but also a guy who's going to push you. It's always good to have someone who isn't scared to tell you you're doing wrong but also someone who will pat you on the back and say you're doing good, but you can do better."

He's isn't scared to tell Wade that weed is for p*****s, PCP and black tar heroine is where it's at.
