Harden is the primary playmaker on the perimeter regardless of whether or not he's the one bringing the ball up the court. I say Harden/Howard is looking like the best guard/big combo in the league right now on paper IMO. We shall see how well they play together here in a few months.
parker and duncan. the entry pass is a lost art. Parker and timmy have like espn or something and can read each other's minds. Paul understands angles but his center sucks. Lin understands angles but sometime he goes color blind, same with harden. During the dreamy years of old glorious days, everyone but sam cassell knew to give ball to big man, where he likes it. give ball to big man!
I know we're Rockets fans, but how can you vote for lin/howard when they haven't even played together? Production wise it'll be Williams and lopez.
For the people putting Duncan/Parker. His coach starts him as a PF. Has had him as a PF for NBA Allstar purposes. It's like Ibaka, they both play with centers. I think Conley/Gasol as mentioned would definitely be top 3. With Rose/Noah and DWill/BLopez.
In theory, yes (although who was the starting center of the 1st team All NBA?). In practice, the Spurs are fluid and Duncan often matches up vs. centers. For examples, if the Spurs are playing Grizzlies, what's Duncan's main assignment and who defends Duncan? More often than not, it's Marc Gasol. But they do change it up quite a bit.
This is a terrible thread. Jeremy Lin is out weakest link. I can't believe it's not obvious to some of you.
