Let me first explain this Syndrome. It often occurs after a heartbreaking loss, one that should of been one by your team (Houston). It often spawns itself as some form of rage against the opposition, often wanting to unleash your anger on opposing fans or fools who oppose your team. Symptoms often form themselves in the following.... -Not being able to watch ESPN until highlights/discussion of that particular game have been completely eradicated. -Problems holding in your anger when someone at work/school begins to discuss this game for any reason. -Inability to come out of this depression until revenge is enacted upon the opposing team, or a great victory is won on the battlefield. -Resistance to turning on Local Sports Radio. Often Post Traumatic Loss Syndrome can be the cause of a sole individual, not just a team. Examples below: Has anyone else been diagnosed with this lately?
Texan's and Colorado Buffalo football losses do not bother me anymore, I have come to expect it But I definitely feel that way after big Rockets losses
These three left the city roiling in pain: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/32XoU5oPZ9w?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/32XoU5oPZ9w?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/rBg8RJdcSEs?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rBg8RJdcSEs?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jcVzcPOP0Sw?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jcVzcPOP0Sw?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Depending on the loss. I couldn't watch espn this weekend after the performance of the Horns and Texans. It was a very rough weekend, i find i try to avoid talking about sports altogether.
I actually don't agree with lidge. It wasn't the cards that owned him, he was actually doing pretty poorly the whole postseason. Sure, he didn't give up much runs against atlanta, but he gave up quite a few hits/walks.
