Who Still Has A Bitter Taste In Their Mouth from 2005?

I remember that series like it was last year. For whatever reason that one left a mark.

 

Yeah, watching those assholes laughing and jumping around- **** dirk, **** josh howard, and especially **** that jet.... oops... i mean, screw everyone but Terry.

 

Not me. It was replaced by the bitter taste of losing Game 7 at home in 2007 and then the injuries that derailed the 2008 and 2009 playoff runs and then the 0.9 shot last year.

 

It's b/c we had them where we wanted and they humiliated us in Game 7. Add to that Dirk's stupid tongue-wagging, Terry's stupid jet thing, and Mark Cuban being a paragon of humility- hell yes, that pissed me off. Still remember exactly where I was- Post, TX, chaperoning a Boy Scout camping trip. After listening to it on the radio out in the wilderness, I was so pissed that I left and let the scouts fend for themselves.

Dear god, that series still boils my blood

 

Would you argue that this rockets team is better than 2005's?

 

I swear to god if we lose in the first round to Dallas I will do the world a favor and wipe the city of Dallas off the face of the Earth.

 

I remember each game vividly! Hatred for Dallas really went to another level after that!

A couple fun memories from they series: Tmac sucking the gravity right out of the building, and his chin while after hitting a game winner.

It is better than that team, but we have more injuries now.

 

Losing to them has left a bitter feeling which refuses to go away. The injury to Juwan Howard before the series hurt us a lot.

The Finley non-call was atrocious.

that was probably the worst loss of my fanhood to date, and then we lost to the Jazz....

 

Was at Game 5 and Game 7 in Dallas in '05. Will be at Games 1, 3, 4 for '15. Ready for revenge.

 

I just hope, at least once, it's Jet who hits the nail in the coffin shot.
