I believe the team is going to come out w/ a killer intensity and focus. The crowd will be so loud your ears will bleed Rockets red. And we will be drinking the blood of the Blazers in a glorious victory in our path to the second round. (Ok, that third sentence was a little overboard.)
We are in a great position. The Rockets will win tomorrow. I am thinking Brooks is getting an earful from the coaching staff right about now. They will not repeat the same mistakes and we are closing this m*ther *****er down tomorrow.
I think Portland, on paper, is the better team, and our offense has been getting worse and worse as the series progresses. Much like in past playoffs, over time the opponent figures out how to guard us, and we don't have smart/skilled enough players to adjust to that. Sadly, I think Portland pulls out a win against us tomorrow and closes us out at their place. A nice run by the Rockets without their best playmaker, but they need to get better.
I put that in my sig since All Star break started. I believe, call me crazy but I also believe Rockets have all the tools to eliminate the Lakers.
Closing out game 6 on your home court is EXACTLY how a road team is supposed to win a playoff series. Drop the road game and then close out at home happens all the time in the playoffs. The Jazz did it to us last year and the Mavs did it to us a few years back. We just need to take care of business on our own home court. That's what playoff basketball is all about.
I believe if AB and Ron stick to team plays we'll win Game 6. Once their stupidity shows again and Rox lost because of that, the whole team would fall apart in Game 7.
I Believe we'll win but what if Battier doesnt hit those Crazy 3's?? Or what if Artest takes his random 3's?
Winning game 5 would be nice. But taking care of business in home court is not too bad either. Our role players (except Scola & Battier) and bench just had a very bad game. However, the Rockets still had a 4 point lead in early 4th quarter. Both teams had strong home records in regular season. So hopefully, our role players/bench will show up in Game 6 and their role players won't.
Yep ... I'm All In. Rockets haven't relinquished control since they popped them in the mouth in Game 1. Until then, it's all mind games.
I think we have better players all around. They only have about 2 guys who can score from there starters while we have Scola, Yao, and Artest who should be able to score with ease.
I believe that we'll wrap up the series in Houston. I also believe that AB is a SG trapped in a high school PG's body and that he should see less floor time in favor of Lowry on Thursday.
We will win! The playoffs are like a game. Right now we're up. Tomorrow is just us continuing the lead AND we have home-court advantage. This is where our boys finish the job they set out to do!
I believe the Rockets will win no problem. Unfortunately, I don't believe that the "fans" at the Toyota Center will actually stay until the end of the game to celebrate. I remember in Game 4, we had like a three point lead with like 10 seconds left, and people started clearing out. Pathetic.
