We "were" close to a deal? Or "are" close to a deal?

If you follow the NBA you'd know he's a stiff and bad contract now. He never fully recovered after getting injured and can't stay healthy.

The Rockets don't need a center, it was announced that Morey's brain is going to suit up and start next season. By sheer IQ power, Morey's brain is going to guard the rim and grab rebounds, and feed the ball to our new undersized, short armed, nonathletic wing, who's NBA ready game will make every GM who selected 11-13 feel like dirt for not drafting him.

    These are "Morey" moves...

Fesenko. Will be relatively cheap, and the rockets liked him last year. Perhaps Flynn for Fesenko?

Robin Lopez. This is the type of cheap, high upside potential player morey looks for.

Greg Oden. Should be cheap and be willing to take a short deal. Huge upside.

Marreese Spieghts. not sure how we would pry him away from the 6ers.

I am on board with this. We get younger with patterson with slightly more defense. As long as we don't give up too much.

I would be shocked if he is already on the roster.

The Rox would be lucky to have Yao play more than 10 minutes a game. It's gonna be Hayes in the beginning.
