In your opinion, what team is the perfect landing spot for Maurice Jones Drew in terms of potential team success with a solid RB?

    This isn't about cap space.

Although I'm not a big fan of either of these teams I think Maurice Jones Drew would fit very well with Dallas or New England.

Lions, Packers, Patriots immediately come to mind.

Then maybe the Bengals, Chargers, Colts, Falcons, or Steelers.

I know, some of those probably aren't realistic, ha.

Edit: Whoops, didn't even see the 'not about cap space' part, ha. Forget the rest below then.

And a potential problem(?), you gotta trade for him and then give him a new deal. How many teams are willing to do so? I don't know. No, he hasn't fallen off a cliff (yet) but...teams may be wary.

"not about cap space". Imagine if the NFL were like the other sports. Dallas would have Fitz, Andre, and Megatron. There's plenty of teams that could use MJD. I hope he does get traded, I already had to watch poor Steven Jackson waste his career. Enough is enough.

I think New England would be great for him.

I already posted about why, in the other thread.

Also like I posted before, I think MJD would sign the same contract if he would get a chance for a ring.
He wants a big contract, because he knows he is not going to get a ring with Jax. I bet that if the Jaguars were a contender he wouldnt held out that long.

so this I why posted there about it would be a good idea if the Patriots get MJD:

because you dont know who to cover, you cant stay in the box to cover MJD, because Tom Brady will make you pay, and you cant blitz, because MJD is a good blocker and Brady would have a little more time to find a target or it could be a run play and MJD will make you pay.

I dont know if MJD is asking for a lot of money in Jax because he knows isnt going to get a ring, but what if he goes to NE, does he signs for the same contract to get a ring, or just goes to a bad team with a lot of salary cap.

I'd hate to blow a gasket by posting here, but I think Detroit could use him most.

Before Detroit gets MJD, they need to get a new OC that will actually know how to use him.
