    How about one of those college guys? The guy from Kentucky John Calipari, he has NBA experience and he might be a solid choice for this team. He probably will do a better job than Mchale. But I don't know man. Is going to be hard to find a championship caliber coach these days.

    We need a Phil Jackson/Gregg Popovich type coach. Hard to find that.

    Doc Rivers, you know he hates Donald Sterling who will still own the Clippers after files a lawsuit against the NBA.

    He is the one that told dwight to come to Houston. There was a point they would talk everyday, they have come to terms.

    As an assistant yes, as a head coach no way. He can't coach on the offensive end at all. Defense is critical, but it's not enough.

    If JVG wants back - yes... and then add this guy...Ettore Messina: Our new offensive assistant coach. Spoken of highly among the coaching scene..

    HONESTLY, I do not think Thibs is leaving. I do not think JVG is leaving broadcasting.

    After seeing what Clifford and Budenholzer did for Charlotte and Atlanta respectively, I really do feel like we should consider a highly respected elite-level assistant coach.

    I mentioned this in another thread, but it bears repeating. While signs point to McHale returning to coach, we all know the Rockets logo would have to change if He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named came.
