Eff these guys going for the last roster spot. I want Morey to flip our assets for better assests! Flip Dekker before the world finds out he's a scrub!

Not saying we should do it, but Furkan is a rebounding machine and we drafted him for a reason.

We did not draft him, Clippers did. We got him via a trade with cash consideration :)

Lots of B and C list centers on the market right now:

    Ryan Hollins (released by Memphis)
Chuck Hayes (released by LA Clippers)
    Emeka Okafor
    Larry Sanders
    Furkan Aldemir (released by Sixers)

For whatever it's worth, I did hear today that the Rockets recently reached out to Boozer. Not a formal offer or anything like that -- just a "feeler" to gauge potential interest. Doesn't sound like anything is imminent, but Rockets are certainly looking at external options, it seems.

At this point, the Rockets need to sign Aaron Craft to have a chance to improve their defense. Bev's injured. And before he got hurt he wasn't bringing it defensively anyways. Lawson can't play any defense. And our perimeter and transition D is our worst problems right now.

It's time to sign Aaron Craft.

Oh great, one of the worst defensive players in the NBA from last year. Nice.

Don't laugh but we need a 4 that has hieight and can play 5. how about
Yi Jianlian he is 33% behind 3. He is a little weak but he can run the floor and is 7ft. For 10-12 mins he could work in our system. Plus he can play during hack a crap moments.

Hell, at least Boozer would do something right.

You could generally count on him to score some points, even if he's giving up the same or more points at the other end.

Pretty much everyone on the Rockets, from head coach to all the players, looks like the proverbial monkey f***ing a football right now.

But you do have to wonder at their obsession with finding a scorer. From the little I saw of Chuck Hayes, he still played very solid positional box-out make-the-opponent-uncomfortable-enough-to-miss-a-shot defense. And we let him go real quick, when we have almost no one on the team who can even spell "defense" (or "defence", if we allow them the British spelling), not even if you spot them all the consonants.

Thanx Cat and Cyber for the info.
Unfortunately I find the info very disturbing.
And what is Boozer doing anyway? Does he want to retire or is he waiting for some injury to get a fully guaranteed contract?
I don't laugh I just cry at the idea of yi jianlian in a rockets uniform.
