    Dave Joerger
David Joerger enters his third season on the Grizzlies’ bench after recently coaching the Grizzlies summer league squad to a perfect 5-0 record in the 2009 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

Before earning his first NBA assistant coaching job with the Grizzlies, Joerger gained fame as one of the most successful minor league basketball coaches in history, serving as head coach of the 2006-07 NBA D-League Champion Dakota Wizards. The title was the fifth he has won as a head coach, as he also has one International Basketball Association (IBA) title and three Continental Basketball Association (CBA) championships, along with two CBA Coach of the Year honors and a 232-117 (.665) head coaching record.

He received his first opportunity on the sidelines as an assistant coach during the 1997-98 season. After three years as an assistant, Joerger replaced head coach Duane Ticknor and led the Wizards to their first championship during the 2000-01 season. Prior to the 2001-02 season, the Wizards moved into the CBA where Joerger led the team to another title. Continuing his success, Joerger captured his third title in four years after the Wizards defeated the Idaho Stampede to win the 2003-04 CBA Championship. During the summer of 2004, Joerger moved to Sioux Falls to become the head coach of the Skyforce and proceeded to win his fourth CBA Championship, giving him more minor league championships than minor league-turned-NBA head coaches Phil Jackson, Flip Saunders, George Karl and Eric Musselman combined.

An excellent teacher of the game, Joerger had 18 of his players called up to the NBA from 2003-07.

    Mike Malone
Currently the Hornets Assistant. Before joining the hornets staff Malone joined the Cavaliers after four seasons with the New York Knicks. He originally joined the Knicks as a coaching associate in the summer of 2001, and was promoted to assistant coach in May 2003.

Prior to joining the Knicks, Malone spent seven years in the college ranks. He served for two years (1999-01) as the lead assistant coach at Manhattan College following one season at the University of Virginia (1998-99). Malone spent three seasons (1995-98) at Providence College after beginning his coaching career at Oakland (Mich.) University.

    Conclusion
Mike Malone is the toughest to get? he'd be third on this list based on experience and accomplishments. Mike Brown can have him.

I love the idea of Kelvin Sampson. He's a very accomplished college HC and is leading the Bucks defense which was ranked 4th in the league this year.

I equally love the idea of Dave Joerger. The guy wins wherever he goes. period. even in memphis! he ran their defense which was tied for 8th in the league. i also love that he's very accomplished as a player developer.
