    Bump.

Bill O'Brien is an intriguing candidate. I've liked the way he's handled the the Penn State situation. But former Belichick assistants typically don't do well at NFL head coaches.

    Romeo Crennel (28-55)
Al Groh (9-7, only one year)
    Eric Mangini (33-47)
    Nick Saban (15-17)
    Jim Schwartz (29-47)
    Josh McDaniels (11-17)

    Overall: 125-190

Hate to hold the failure of others against a guy, but that's a pretty consistent trend.

I would let him interview for def. Co. For sure, jury is out for HC but i wouldnt mind giving him a shot after smith has been shown the door.

I like this list, I'm not on the Whisenhunt train as many people seem to be now. Lovie is a guy I would be ok with, but my preference is O'Brien and Shaw.

Eating a bunch of a ****in' cheeseburgers before we go stretch and all that, that's being a jackass.

Lets make sure we play like the ****in' New York Jets and not some ****in' slapdick team. That's what I want to see tomorrow? Do we understand what the **** I want to see tomorrow? Let's go eat a gotdamn snack.

Now, you guys, gosh darnet, you know what I expect of you. Don't go out there and play like you think your job is safe, because you know accountability is the most important word in this locker room.

Yeah, I have my preferences but I wouldn't really be upset with anyone on that list. The only guy mentioned that I wouldn't want is Wade.

Absurd I'm sure. But I doubt a better opening in the NFL ever comes up so I'm sure he'd at least take the interview.

It's all about Money. If McNair offered him the largest contract any football coach (college or pros) has ever received, he'd take it, but Uncle Bob would never do that because his fellow owners would be angry at him for raising the ceiling on contracts.

Saban: current open in right now in the nfl. My info this afternoon is UT is not the only group in TX that wants Saban, Texans as well.

    David Nuño ‏@DavidNunoABC13 12m

Finbaum just said he is hearing the #Texans are interested in Saban.

Nick Saban is in TX today...just not Austin. Meets w/ 5-star CB Tony Brown in about 10 minutes. http://bit.ly/1bxVr5y

with all the coaches coming UT's way (tomlin, harbaugh), why aren't these viable candidates for the texans?

    who wouldn't want harbaugh?
