Tracy has been the Captain for the last few years. 1. Should Tracy keep being the Captain? 2. Should Yao be the Captain? 3. Should Yao and Mcgrady be Co-Captains? 4. Should someone else be the Captain? My vote, strip Tracy of the Captain title and give it to Yao.
Tracy should've never been the Captain, this is held Yao 'mentally ' back for years of being the leader. They should give it to him now so he can lead the team and take them on his giant back to the promised land.
Yao, Shane and Deke should be co-captains imo. Tmac would be but you have to be on the court to be a captain
Crazy! I was just checking out the roster on Rockets.com and saw that C by Tracy's name. He does not deserve it at all. I didn't really think it was thread worthy but I guess I thought wrong. Ah well, maybe they can change it to Yao soon...

Agreed, but I still wouldn't want T-Mac to be the captain. It will only be time before Lowry becomes captain though.
yao in the undeniable leader. -hes been on the team the longest -best guy on the floor talent wise for this team -had had to take a leading role for this team before when tmac was out -he is consistent and has the capability of putting up monster numbers idk how you're gonna argue anyone else to be the leader...it just wouldn't seem right.
Just to add to my post, the Houston Rockets staff and the organization has been wanting Yao to be the leader for years now, since the JVG days. Only problem is Yao Ming has gotten injured throughout the years. 06-07 is when Yao Ming was actually handed the leadership duties, until he got injured. I hope you guys haven't forgot that he was favorite to win MVP that year too before the injury. Then last year, Rick wanted to run the offense through Yao a lot and wanted him to be the leader especially when T-Mac was out. It seems like it's more like it's Yao's fault they haven't given him the full leadership due to lack of health. However, this year has changed and he has been one of the most healthiest Rockets this season and that is why he is the leader. If this team wants to go anywhere, Yao has to lead them. Not Tracy.
Tmac is the bus driver no matter what. Everyone watching this league except Rockets fans learned this from the recent drama.
