whats funny is yall hate on nate, and non of yall can jump 1/3rd the height he can, he is a freak

but yes, he has been there too long
the dunk that he did that won last year, non of yall could do on an 8ft goal.
(off the backboard reverse at an odd angle)

KD is not a dunker. (lanky, doesnt have that athlete swag)
Blake is a newer version of darvin Ham (who got robbed in a 1st round kick)
Rose is a better version of bobby sura (who i keep seeing at cafe express off post oak) more of an over the top dunker not a jordanesque
Sbrown shouldn't be allowed in after last years dunks (kobe alley oop was a 2)
    amare is too tall
cbud should be in it and win it IMO

they should just hand the trophy to Griffin. he's the closest i've seen to VC. VC is still the best All-Time Dunker imo.

edit: NBA dunker. in case someone wants to post James White clips

They should do away with the dunk contest altogether. It's all been done.

Realistically, is anyone even gonna watch this?

It's been disappointment after disappointment after disappointment. It doesn't matter if they get All Stars to do this, it's going to suck.

    Let's see,

Not much room for new creativity
    Same old repeated dunks
Almost guarantee someone's gonna do a FT dunk
    Biased judging
    etc
    etc
    etc

yea VC was on a whole another level... Griffin has the same power and explosion as VC but VC was a guard which always looks a lot nicer dunking than a big man..But Griffin is easily the best big man dunker.. MUCH BETTER THAN DWIGHT and he won

agreed.. Durant has like a 15 inch vertical .. the dude is a awesome player but he's definitely not a dunker.. he has no explosion.. I think NBA 2k got it just right.. he rarely ever dunks in that game.. Not sure why people keep mention durant too.. I guess people dont really watch him play and automatically associate great player with great dunker

I could live with this list.

Would like to see Rose but, like Eric Gordon, have a feeling he's more of an in-game dunker than creative one.

AI got robbed, Money Weem$ is a ferocious athlete, and JR Smith's reverse behind the back dunk was actually one of the more creative ones of late.

i'd say that is hops, athleticism, and strength....just not the same as Rose. Griffin is a pretty straight forward dunker, goes up and comes down. He's great at it, but rose has more of style tailor made for a dunk contest.

Glorious news. I'd much rather watch a J.R. Smith, Westbrook, Weems type.

Ok....just watched some Durant dunks on youtube.

...he doesn't jump high...he just dunks on people because he's already up there.

I think you're confusing him with Knee Mac.
