The blame is spread around the entire Houston franchise. RA for overplaying Yao, although he gets a little leeway for bringing him into the high post. the GM for not signing Jackie Butler. Yao Ming himself for not paying attention to his own body, ie. being more vocal. The medical team for not giving him a DAILY checkup. The NBA is a business, and when your $75 Million Dollar firm goes down, heads need to roll.
It is nobody's fault...Yao's body is just too big to handle the rigors of a full NBA season and his CNT committments. DD

How about China making him play every off-season? I'll keep saying it until I am blue in the face...a big man cannot play all year round. China needs to realize that if they want him to stay in the NBA. If they don't, keep making him play every off-season
The curse of Keith Jones! I don't know...injuries are part of the game, but since this was an injury that he already had or a pain...makes you wonder.
Keith Jones is widely considered one of the best in the business. But stuff like this makes you wonder ...
Will be interesting to hear some of the details on how this progressed over the past couple of weeks; hopefully the Rox are open about it. Will be veeeeeeery interesting to see how Yao/China handles the Olympics.
A hand injury does not compare to a foot injury. You can still run, jump, and extend with a hand injury and not with a foot injury. Smart guy.
