    Home: Martin

Away: Yao. Yao just seems like he'd be rattled less, but I have no basis for this conclusion.

Have watched Martin enough. He will choke. People need to understand that this guy still has a kid's mind. He doesn't like pressure. I will say it again. He will score 20 pts in the first half and if the game is close in the 2nd half, he will be lucky to put up 5 pts.

    Yao.

Is there a stat on tech shooting percentage? They always say that shooting FTs with an empty lane is not the same as having people lining up on both sides.

Can't go wrong. Hopefully it will be Yao, because that means he's healthy and on the court

What does that have to do with technicals? His percentage is proof that he doesn't choke when shooting free throws.

Won't matter. Yao will shoot them when Martin is injured.

Then Martin will shoot them when Yao is injured. So it works out.

Then Brooks will shoot them when they are both out.

My thoughts exactly. I was going to say whoever isn't injured will take it. Hopefully figuring out who'd shoot the technical FT's will be our biggest problem next season.

i remember yao as a rookie playing his first game against the shaq and the lakers and he made some clutch free trows in crunch time and iced them stone cold, so my pick would be martin early in the game and yao in the 4th quater. unstopable baby!!!!

I guess you can't really go wrong with either but Yao should shoot the techs. The guy is Mr. Automatic especially late in games. They are all hovering around 85% though.

I say Martin only because he can use those easy tech shots to get into his rhythm. I'd say that's more important to Martin than Yao since Yao mostly does his dirty work in the post.

But, how lucky we are to have two (really three; I'd count on Brooks to take 'em too) guys we know are dependable to make the shot.

Actually, I was gonna make the same argument for Yao. Yao actually needs a few buckets to get his confidence up. And once he starts dominating down low, Martin will see more than his fair share of open looks.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I guess if Shaq has 60% FG, his clutch stats and game winners would also be 60%.

K-Mart is the definition of a choker. I can't wait to see my claim proved next season as the Rockets will be in more important/intense/close games.

Brooks, because they will need to try to limit Yao's time doing everything.

If possible, Les needs to invest in a auto manufacturer or get one of them to make a car proportional to Yao's height.

How is thread still going? Obviously Kmart or Yao.

(And yes I realize the irony of this post "keeping this thread going.")

Damn that was a NICE miss! How unfortunate that Rafer was the PG.
