Who really believes we will get out of the first round this year?

are you guys serious?

if we have artest, battier, t-mac, and most of all, yao, all healthy, we will make it past the first round and likely much further.

 

Not I. This team is pathetic.

 

The thought to start a thread like this entered 2 weeks ago. I felt a little morsel of guilt back then...

Hope I'm dead wrong, but even without chemistry or the Jazz.....................there's still that dreaded I word.

 

The worse that could happen right now is Yao getting injured. I've been touching wood ever since the beggining of the season.

 

Depends on who we play and (of course) whether we even qualify for the playoffs in the first place. We're at rock bottom right now but recovery is entirely possible. The talent, the personnel and the tools needed to win a playoff series are already here. Due to a number of factors we are simply underachieving. We can get out of this funk and if/when we do anything is possible.

 

We have time to get back on track.

 

If they're all on the same page and playing team ball, yeah.

If what Doc Rocket says is true and there are major problems inside the organization the Rockets are in trouble.

I still think we not only will get out of the first round, but that we can get really deep b/c this team is built for the playoffs.

However, even my optimism is being challenged.

I don't mind Ls but I hate no defense!

 

I think expectations has been set way to high to start the season and the problem which is obvious is always health every damn season. You get the sence that because it's this problem every season and expectations are way to high that of course there is problems inside the organization and it has to do with being impatient when everybody has been patient that last 5 seasons.

 

i'll say one thing: when FULLY healthy, even disjointed, we'll be good enough to win most games.

winning solves all problems. we just need to get healthy and eventually the wins will come and thus the chemistry.

 

fully healthy? then you have to assume other teams are fully healthy too...if that's the case, we think we're not much better than we're not...no. 4 at best...and a probable first round exit again.

 

If all the teams were at full health and strength, the Rockets will give ANY team a run for their money.

 

The Rockets might be mulling it over, but my bet is that they won't blow up this team just yet.

This is a group with high expectations for themselves, and they're just tremendously frustrated right now.

They just need to ride this rough patch out and start playing with hope and fire again.

 

Lol, I am not even sure if they will make the playoffs but if they do, the WILL NOT make it to the 1st round. I am sure now.

 

they need to put tmac on the shelf until he's ready to play and healthy, if artest needs to rest a week or two, than let him....with the way we are playing we are gonna lose these games anyways, might as well lose big and come back big when our key guys are healthy for real, i think everyone is trying to come back too fast and it's hurting the team.

 

after tonights lose we won't even be in a playoff spot because 9 teams don't make it memphis might catch the rockets

 

This team is very inconsistent and unpredictable. Who knows?! At present, anybody can beat them. If this continues, they won't make the playoffs. The turn around needs to come quickly as the mid point of the season is not far away. I am starting to think that the lingering health problems aren't going away.
