I agree it's a small sample size, but he is playing smarter, putting himself in better situations. Knowing his game and what he needs to be successful. He has been notoriously awful finisher at the rim, and this year he seems to have improved (albeit, 4 games). I also like the defensive effort. Also, he has had some catch and shoot opportunities, but he is also driving and kicking/driving and shooting, and you can definitely turn the ball over if you are shooting, in that case.
I'm with @glimmertwins on this one. Apparently you're not watching the games or even reading the endless number of posts that prove he at least so far, looks like a completely different player. His Defense alone is night and day. Will he keep it up? Who knows, but it's been fun to watch. It was only a matter of time and most importantly, coaching. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/g/greenja05.html https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/g/greenja05/gamelog/2025
I'm the one with no credibility? What à joke. You are a joke with your deny, Deny, DENY NONSENSE. You just make yourself look stupid. We all saw the receipts......before you edited them.
The last few pages of this thread reminded me of the time DaDakota accidentally signed "DD" under a post by his burner. He had enough honor to fess up.
I have no idea if you labeled him a bust in the first two weeks, but I can't count how many times you have over the last 3 years. That's a fact. Now he's been inefficient no doubt for much of that time, but he came into the league at 19. It's very rare someone that young is going to put it all together in the first 2 or even 3 years. Point is you shouldn't label someone especially a dude that had many big games even at such a young age when the system was designed to fail. Took Ime 1 year to flip the script. Will he continue shooting plus 40%, who knows, but Jalen even around 37-38% is going to be a star because he's nowhere near a bust. https://bbs.clutchfans.net/search/1...len,+bust&t=post&o=relevance&c[user][0]=53688
Look at you getting all emotional, just like all the Sengtards who got banned before. We'll just wait a day or two for the racism to start flying I guess?
If you look at his performance the first 3 years, it's the performance of a bust. He was one of the worst shooters in the entire NBA and his defense was a sad joke. He was incapable of effectively creating for himself or others. For the first year I intentionally avoided the B word because it was too soon to say anything other than he was very disappointing, I think sometime into the 2nd season I started saying that "Thus far he's been a bust" and I continued to say that.... because it was true. I always mentioned how he could still turn it around... but i guess that part was always ignored. I haven't said anything like that this season however because he's been really good, not just scoring efficiently but occasionally looking to pass rather than chuck and his defense has been by far the best of his career. As always, when players are bad, I criticize, when they are good I praise them.
I’ve spent some time reading this thread..and wow. Ups and downs and in betweens and I’ve run into one conclusion. It’s GO ROCKETS
Board has learned a long time ago......go with the opposite of what you say. Nice talk, next time go with a winner.
Still waiting on @daywalker02 to explain his issue with Afro hair and @invocux to explain his white supremacy. Lots of silence all of a sudden for people who usually like to talk so bold. Cat got your tongue? Or just your balls?
As long as he plays the same level of defense, has judicious shot selection and makes the right passes, I'm fine if he has bad shooting nights here or there. Those are the things I'm looking for first before looking at his scoring efficiency for the night when evaluating. Early in the season a lot of star players are struggling with their efficiency. Luka has like a 46% ts or something horrendous like that. SGA has like a 52% ts. Even guys at that level of elite have bad stretches. But they still impact the game at a high level.
Fair enough, but it doesn't change the fact that he had several great games that showed his future. For example, his third game of his career he dropped 30 on 8 of 10 from deep. Ended 30/4/3 with a steal and 2 blks. If you ck out the game logs, the good ones were there. He was just a kid that was learning and hadn't even had one year of a structured college team. He was playing an AAU style game in the G not learning anythimg that would provide him that the tools to show out more his rookie year. He then was thrown into an ish storm here in the middle of one hell of a stupid "experiment" at the point. If you think that moron not only couldn't run a team to save his life, it was clear he was a BAD influence on Jalen. It is what it is. Just looking foward to the season. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/g/greenja05.html
Yeah i was just makin sure you didn't miss it. I'm still not fully convinced that's actually a person tbh, but if it is they're almost as much of a coward as invocuck's racist ass.
