Well, he would need to point out an actual example of this being done instead of a false allegation of one. McCain has enough experience to know better than to do such a thing.

Talk about crawfishing.... Maybe that would fly if you had not posted the picture with no supporting commentary.

You should take an interest in learning how to bail out of this thread.

Do NOT mention President Grant in your replies if you have absolutely no idea what he did for this country. You don't know how hard his life was and what he struggled with, physically and mentally.

I understand that politics is like a soap opera to you. Especially the way the media presents it these days. I get it. It's easy... But if you are going to use American heroes to make points, you better at least have the basic-Britannica knowledge about their lives.

Every time you don't know when photos were taken or speak glibly about them, you disrespect great men like President Grant.

If we don't understand what they went through and what they achieved, did they even exist?

I'm going to go look for videos about Grant on youtube. If I find something decent, I will post the video here so you can watch it whenever you can.

But more importantly, you can get his memoirs on Amazon.com.

Damn damn damn, I knew better than to log on to this site without brushing up on President Grant. I had an erie feeling this was going to happen. Now I went and made his number 1 fan spitting angry. My mom told me there would be a day that someone would post a photo of him and that I would have to guess his age. Did I listen? Hell no. The horror of it all.

Look, I mentioned him because someone said there wasn't a President as young as Obama is on US Currency. Sue me.

Why don't you give a legitimate answer to a legitimate question?

I can't wait to hear these guys ranting about President Barack Hussein Obama.

    Say it with me now:

    President Barack Hussein Obama.

It almost sounds foreign, doesn't it?

    President Barack Hussein Obama.

It has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

    President Barack Hussein Obama.

Let's all hold hands now and sing to the tune of Kumbaya:

    Come November my lord, Obama
    Come November my lord, Obama
    Come November my lord, Obama
    Oh lord, Obama

Everybody now, this verse is for T_J and Ill-Killz:

    Come November my lord, Obama
    Come November my lord, Obama
    Come November my lord, Obama
    Oh lord, Obama

It's a haunting melody that I hope keeps you awake at night.

when you compare a black man to a pair of people who have domestic issues, drug problems, problems with the law, etc.....you have indeed made race an issue.

they didn't choose tom hanks after all. they didn't even choose will smith.

they choose two celebs known for their problems with sex, drugs, alcohol, and the law.

It's disgusting and I think McCain is going to turn off a lot of independents and will regret this ad.

Obama has to play the race card. Race is what got him to where he is today, why would he not continue to ride that card? It continues to stoke the white-guilt voters out there, not excluding Batman Jones, who said that he would vote for Obama because he does not want to have to continue to answer the question, "when will America be ready for a (half) black president?"

Because its pointless and every time someone says anything you answer with "that's not a legitimate answer."

Many responses have been of the "who the hell cares" variety since it your question doesnt reflect on his opinion on domestic and foreign policy or his ability to lead. It's a minute semantic breakdown that has less relevance than many of McCain's gaffes which have been on major foreign policy issues (mixing up sunni and shia, iraq and iran, mixing up world leaders, etc...)

So let me guess you're probably not going to vote for Obama and thought to make some snide thread about statement he made.

Lastly I'm not even sure why what he said was so bad. He looks different from people on the dollar bill. Ok, so explain to me what your beef is

David Axlerod was on the Today show this morning and just made the comment that the dollar bill comment was made in front of a crowd that was 95% white and a huge contingent of the local press and noone, NOONE was offended or took the comment to mean anything racist. It only became an issue after the McCain campaign brought it up.

    So who's playing cards? hum....

There are few things in life that bring greater joy than starting my day knowing that Batman Jones is hours away from waking up and discovering his latest drunken burp of a post on CC.Net.

Do you guys race to the innerwebs when you get drunk?

So in your world, it's ok to falsely accuse someone of being a racist?
