I turned mine on. I have 2 sick kids. And, my house is up on piers with tile floors. When the wind blows under the house, the tile gets super cold. And, I need these kids to stop putting snot all over me. It's a funny thing about smells. Distinctive smells I love because they just hit me with nostalgia are truck exhaust, paint fumes, and cow manure. Each of them remind me of elements of my childhood and while most people are wrinkling their noses at the smell, I'm tripping down memory lane.
So, your dad was a truck driver and you lived on a farm, so to keep from being bored while your dad was gone on those long deliveries, you sniffed spray paint out of a paper bag?
WTH people have turned on there heaters? You shouldn't turn on your heater if by lunch you don't need it.. I love waking up knowing that I have not used my AC / Heater in the past 4 days ... LOVIN it!!!!
It's not cold enough yet for heaters! I love the house to be freezing when I sleep, so it doesn't bother me. I usually don't turn on my heater until late November.
Speaking of hispanic, is smelling the heater the same thing as a Dirty Sanchez? If that's the case, no, I don't like the smell of a heater.
Ironically, I haven't had to do that yet. Actually, I think the reason I put mine on already is that I'm extremely sensitive in the morning. I usually get better as the day wears on.
