I'd put myself in the Robert Horry category: big guy who should play inside but prefers to shoot 3's. Yep, that's me.
I've always wanted to be compared to Marbury but everyone tells me I'm a Tony Parker with a better jumpshot. Since I'm not that muscular but short (5'9) and quick with pretty good hops.
Have you seen "The Johnson Family Vacation"? Vanessa looks WHACK, Solange Knowles makes her look really bad. My wife is HOTTER that Vanessa Williams!
Ginobili with Barkley-like rebounding. I wrote half a page describing myself before that comparison came to me, lol.
geez... I dont know... I have the stamina of Yao, with a better hook shot. I prefer the paint.....decent rebounder....MoT-ish on defense. Not too god aweful slow for as big as I am... I guess I could say Im like a white MoT that at least tries hard to rebound and defend.
so you're saying that you're awesome eh? too bad ginobli is a volume shooter. i like the left handed finish though.
I have the aggressiveness of Yao Ming and the height of Scotty Brooks and the sharp-shooting of Kelvin Cato and the smarts of Steve Francis.
I'm not a big fan of Ginobili. I started basketball very very late, so I started out doing things that made up for my lack of skills - rebounding and defense. Didn't have any scoring whatsoever (outside of 2 feet) and too short to block shots (5'10), so the only thing I could do was grab rebounds and give the ball to the decision maker. Very easily the best rebounder in every game unless someone had an overwhelming height advantage (6'3 and up). During the process, I improved my skills by starting to play PG with lesser competition, that improved my PG abilities and taught me how to protect the ball. I learned how to handle the ball MUCH better, thank God. Then I lost 20lbs, and I was suddenly able to drive by people, so I started to play some more SG since I could get to the rim. At the moment, I play like Ginobili (very streaky, same style) but with very good rebounding, probably better D. But like I said, I'm not a big fan of Ginobili, so I'm not trying to say I'm great. Much like Francis though, once I develop a consistent J, I will become great hopefully .
