well this isn't fair... I want to vote for just Chuck. I will rank my faves in order... Chuck Patrick *who isn't even listed!! Yao Lowry Shane Luis Chase Brooks Martin Miller *though I have a feeling he will move up Ariza Taylor Andersen ----people I don't remember
We have a lot of player with some nice game, but I gotta go with Luis because of his sick footwork. His foot work is so sick when he first got into the league he always got called for traveling, because the footwork was so nice. He's Mchale like with some of his moves.

Scola, Lowry, then Battier. All three because they bust their butts everytime they step on the court and they are steady. Certainly in that order.
Voted Yao must for the fact that he's the franchise player and got me watching Rockets ball. But Scola personality wise is my favorite player.
I picked Scola, the ultimate blue collar player. I love the way the hustles on every play. He is relentless, never quits, never lets up. He gives you everything he has, every play. And he has skills. He may not be an elite athlete, but he is very clever, tricky and he is relatively quick for a big guy. Also, he is a great interview. I really like Yao's personality too; he is very bright, funny, and down to earth, like Scola. As a player, however, Yao has been a disappointment overall. He was so passive for so long and then the injuries. Yao showed flashes of what could have been, but, somehow, something always seems to prevent him from reaching greatness. Nevertheless, I really like him as a person.
Nothing but love for Scola, AB, Hayes. Really enjoy rooting for Lowry, Budinger. Beyond class acts in Battier, Yao. Still new to me, but I like Martin, Miller. Ariza will redeem himself after some tough shooting percentages early last season. Would love to see any of these guys get into the game -- Hill, Taylor, PP. Nothing wrong with Andersen, JJ. Both can make contributions. This team will be easy to root for.
Man after 2 weeks of thinking I decided... Yao, AB, Kmart, Scola, Battier, and Chuck... man, that was hard!
