Dude, don't jump into something that has been going on between Reek and I for a long time.

And as for my evaluation of players, anyone can pick a couple that were wrong and ride them into the ground....right Mr. Novak !!!!

Talk about high horse.....you are like the the true "Cowboy" coming in and blasting.....hey everyone....I am on my own high horse, and telling others to not be on one........ooops.....

So, just go back to ignoring me, mmmkay...brah !

Why the hell does Jordan Hill -- who hasn't done a damn thing in his career -- get his own poll option, while Chuck is sharing his with David Andersen and guys who haven't even played on the team? Dumb poll.

if it was between you and reek then why drag another poster into the comment when its just between you and reek?

i dont think anyone here seriously believes that I felt Novak was "the future" and felt that he was an "alpha dog" or a player who can be "elite" I rooted for him because he was a underdog I was saddened at his departure but have in no way though of him as any more than a situational role player unlike the second comings you always claim to find. My like of Novak is more of wanting the one guy on the team who never plays to come in and play during the blowout, I still root for him but in no way shape or form do I believe he should be a starter or even 8th man off the bench.

I'm on the high horse here? you're the one always being condescending to posters dismissing their opinions off while trying to pass yours off as 'fact' then re-doubling back saying it was just an opinion when proven wrong. plenty have disagreed with me here and i have disagreed with plenty but outside of you, who fails to give engage in a civilized discussion without huffing and puffing posting the same opinion -- or is it a fact in your case?-- 50 times in 49 different ways without even properly acknowledging the other poster, i feel i've shown respect to everyone else here because they've earned it. and here you go trying to make youself out to be the victim when in reality you're more the cause than anything else.

I dont feel i've done anything or said anything to make myself above others in anyway here if anyone else thinks i am on a high horse i do apologize but it just bothers me when a guy like DD (in my opinion) dilutes the GARM more than anyone else - with his myriad of posts and videos all saying the same thing-- and then goes and complains about how the GARM isn't the same anymore.

i have nothing against mr. p the person, the family man who coaches his son to victories in little league, nothing at all i am sure that guy and I can easily go out and have a beer and shoot the **** without any problems

as for the keyboard warrior DaDakota and my own keyboard warrior persona, thats a different story - the only thing we'll probably ever agree about is wanting the rockets to win and win big

also i dont have you on ignore that seems childish to put someone on ignore just because they have different views i either choose not to read your post and scroll past it or i do read it and move on or comment. I have no issues about scrolling past posts if I dont want to read them.

but i will leave it at this for now no need to derail this thread with this nonsense

favorite players in order for me:

    Scola
    Lowry
    Yao
    Brooks
    Chuck
    Battier
    Ariza
Hill/Martin/Chase/JT been on the team a year or less really cant form opinions on them just yet -- i would go Martin/Chase/Hill/JT in that order though

on the bottom of the list though is David Andersen
I think I would put Keith Jones above David Andersen

Hey, thanks for that take, which you have never given before.

And, I think you will find that most of the players that I get credit for having a MANCRUSH on, where also in the same way you felt about Novak, but the lore of this BBS changes everything.

At the end of the day, you have been pissing and moaning about me for the last few months, probably ever since I made a joke about your voice sounding like a squirral.

Which I was 100% horsing around about.....and was not meant to be rude, but probably came off that way.

Either way, whether you like it or not, I value your contributions here, especially the summer league, I don't think you and I agree about all things basketball, but I would bet we do the majority of the time.

I am just sick of folks taking personal swipes, and have decided to fight fire with fire, thus the Reek joke.

Apparently, that is what is expected now.....I mean you made a comic, right?

Well, it is what it is......and yes, my photoshop skills are weak....

But, just so you can see your contradiction, how can you say:

    Then say:

Shouldn't you just be scrolling on past, like you just said?

You are correct on one thing though, I should not have included Desi...I will fix that ....

Too many of the guys on the younger side I (as a fan) have not seen enough of to get a true feel for character. I like talent in a player, but a talented player can turn me off by a lack of good character. A player who has to stretch limited talents to the max to even stay on board, but who has good character, might even score higher with me. I like talent, strong work ethic, good personality, intelligence, humor, humility, honor. I don't mind a guy with a bit of an ego, as long as it doesn't cross over into the egotistical.

Of all the guys on the team, I'd choose Yao as having the most well-rounded set of the player/personality characteristics that appeal to me. He'd be followed very closely by Scola and Battier. Hayes and Brooks are also right up there in my book.

A bunch of the other younger guys -- well, I don't know enough about them to judge yet.
