Everyone brings something different to the table. Sura brings toughness.. leadership but has a crappy outside shot. I like the way he attacks the basket and wish he would do it more often. Not a typical PG but he is getting the job done. JBarry brings energy and an outside shot. Not much of a defender but brings effort and energy the entire time he is on the court. DWesley is probably the quickest guard we have on our roster. Im not talking about overall foot speed but quickness in getting into position and keeping his man in front of him. His outside shot seems to be coming back around and should play a big part down the stretch with his shooting. None of our guards are known for their passing which is too bad but we have a nice lil rotation that is keeping us in games for now. All three guys seem to be playing to their full potential now (overachieving) and im glad but we may need to look at our future and what the young guys might be able to bring. I hope Reece starts to show something in practice im tired of our young players not developing (or not being developed) .. To answer your question I like Sura because he brings a feisty / scrappy energy to the floor. J
Jon Barry! I love the intangibles he brings. I always like him when he played for Detroit. He's perfect for 20-25 minutes off the bench.
Nobody said Tmac yet? He's really a shooting guard, you know. He's just forced to play small forward because we don't have one. Edit - oh, ok, now I see the parentheses. Well, then, crap, I don't like any of them very much. In limited minutes, Barry, I guess. He generally seems to play smart. Unfortunately, he gets more minutes than he should. Sura works hard, but has some real mental lapses. Wesley is generally on the game plan, but again, more minutes than I'd like to see with what he is.
Sura. I never thought he had this much game. Before this season, I'd always known him as that white dude who had nice hops and got that illegitimate triple double.
