    DEKE!!

Nearing 41 years old and I don't think he has played a single bad minute the whole year, and you just can't say anything negative about his personality and character.

Once one poster pointed that out, I have noticed it quite a bit that T-Mac says 'me' and 'I do this I do that' etc etc... but I have 3 refutations for that :

1- I think he always claims the rockets are his and stuff because outsiders may not know whos in charge here. i mean remember at the beginning of the year, we were all pulling for Yao to be MVP the way he was wreckin? then when he went down and T-mac stepped up in that HUGE way, we were pulling for T-Mac to be MVP (which I still honestly believe). so i think hes becomes really possesive about it because he wants everyone to know its HIS team. I have no qualms with that. i mean we dont exactly have a great pg haha, so i think tmac does it to show leadership.

2- The Me-mac im referring to and the Me-mac ur referring to are 2 VERY different guys- remember how whiny he used to be in Orlando? anyone? anyone? Once he got to Houston, hes come back down to earth.

3- the guy is under much duress about not getting out of the first round. remember how people used to hound KG for it? so saying 'me' because there is so much spotlight on him. for what i gather, hes great in the locker room, so other than that, does it really matter what he says to the media?

also- i would like to point out that hustle and fire are 2 different things. i personally wouldnt want a guy with a back issue diving on the floor like he was chuck hayes. and as for ill advised shots- iono if u heard that interview on 610, but JVG said that T-mac needs his offensive freedom. (dont get me wrong, i defintely want to see t-mac take it inside and/or throw it down more)I still maintain that he brings the fire/mean streak.

    got rox- 3-1 tonight.

Except when he knocked out T-Mac with that elbow to the head.
