Spanoulis is my favorite Rocket--although he doesn't understand the politics of American basketball; he still has the passion and heart that you look for in a player and champion.
I like Hayes cause he balls like me (obviously better ). He's a hustler without much of an outside shot... but a differnce maker. I swear, I'll play 6 games out on a court with a bunch of big boys, I might make 1-2 buckets per game, but I am scraping the whole time, loose balls, rebounds, etc. My team will go like 5-1... I rarely leave with a loosing record.
Hakeem, no contest. But out of right now- it HAS to be T-mac. 1- he changed from Me-Mac to Team-mac 2- he showed much love to yao instead of being threatened by him 3- 13 in 33 4- he brings a fire that no one else on this team has 5- come on rowdies, you gotta show him love for pitching in for 20 more season tix for the red rowdies, right?
1 he's still Me Mac to me (he's made the entire series about HIM advancing) 2 no argument 3 no argument 4 i don't see very many diving/hustle plays from him. He slacks on D, fisher got a couple fastbreak layups cause tmac too lazy to get back on D. Takes WAY too many ill advised jumpers
Favorite Current Rocket: I love T-Mac and Yao equally... if I HAD to pick one, T-Mac Favorite Role Player: Love 'em all Favorite Past Rocket On Another Team: Stevie Franchise - hope he comes back Favorite Rocket Broadcaster: Jon Barry Favorite All-Time: T-Mac and Yao
Interesting that voting wise, more people pick Yao, but most of the posts have been by people that picked T-Mac. My favorite Rocket is the one kicking ass that particular day (more Mac than Yao this year due to Yao's prolonged abscence.)!
Charles Jones. The guy looked like he was 50 and still played tough D against Shaq in the 95 Championship.
