Who is your favorite Rocket not on the championship teams

    Glen Rice. He showed only flashes of brilliance as a player here, but off court he was the reason for my first post on ClutchCity. I met him in Miami as he and his wife were moving to Houston for the 2001 season (traded from the Knicks). He is the only Rocket other than Kenny Smith that I was actually friends with and of all of the athletes that I have confirmed for fundraisers, Glen and Bubba McDowell are the only two to ever show up.

    Too bad he only played one year with Yao in his old age. Les Alexander could have really marketed Rice to the new Chinese fans

    He was an excellent point guard, but when you have players guarding him from the free throw line with him on the three caused some problems offensively...
