Wow, not only are you're stupid but totally ignorant. Maybe try and get an education. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/fdVucvo-kDU&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/fdVucvo-kDU&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
In the later parts of life Sagan said he was an agnostic. Read Conversation's with Carl by Tom Head (a little more reliable than some youtube video)

Not to derail this wonderful thread but Carl Sagan's definition of atheism was one that is not shared by many self-described atheists (like me) or by Webster's dictionary. From Webster's: atheism - a: disbelief in the existence of deity b: the doctrine that there is no deity Quote from Sagan: "My view is that if there is no evidence for it, then forget about it. An agnostic is somebody who doesn't believe in something until there is evidence for it, so I'm agnostic." He basically defined himself as an atheist (no evidence = no belief) in that quote but just confused the definition of atheism with agnosticism.
Doesn't matter if someone who is either "atheist" or being "agnostic". What matters is that how their contribution to this world either through science, health or entertainment are tremendous.
It matters to me. It matters when an atheist does something notable and important to advance the human race and theists try to re-define that person as something other than an atheist because it pains them to admit that someone who doesn't believe in god is actually contributing more to the world than they could ever dream of doing.
Sorry what I meant was that it just wrong prejudging if the person is either "atheist" or "agnostic" when their contribution especially in science give our species a better chance of surviving. I have the utmost respect for these kind of people and I own my life to their dedication in their work. There's more I want to say in this thread but I won't since it's not the D&D.
Thanks. I'm glad there are many great videos such as these on Youtube. It'll keep YaosDirtyStache quiet for the time being but I think he might be too close minded to even acknowledge it.
I really dont have one favorite person. I have a top 5 though. <a href="http://photobucket.com/images/hacksaw%20jim" target="_blank"><img src="http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d100/toohype/Jimduggan.jpg" border="0" alt="Hacksaw jim Pictures, Images and Photos"/></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com/images/michael%20gross" target="_blank"><img src="http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f218/SteveFrame/006%20M/MichaelGross.jpg" border="0" alt="Michael Gross Pictures, Images and Photos"/></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com/images/bonanza%20hoss" target="_blank"><img src="http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb313/TBLight81/bonanza_hoss.jpg" border="0" alt="hoss Pictures, Images and Photos"/></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com/images/mr%20chow" target="_blank"><img src="http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w312/dustyvz/untitled.jpg" border="0" alt="mr chow Pictures, Images and Photos"/></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com/images/tim%20hardaway" target="_blank"><img src="http://i522.photobucket.com/albums/w350/alleyhoops/HARDAWAY.jpg" border="0" alt="HOWLING TIM Pictures, Images and Photos"/></a>
I think our disagreement is more semantics than substance. I view the term "agnostic" the same way Sagan did. You have already resorted to personal attacks on an internet message board. There is no reason to stop now.
